- Crews are entering the home stretch of work on the new main terminal at the Portland International Airport, which is set to open in May. Behind a giant white curtain that runs the length of the terminal behind the public-facing check-in counters, large parts of new terminal have already taken shape.

It's cool, looks very nice, but I wish we were investing more in the railroads.
They did update the max red line end station to be double tracked, but I know what you mean

Oh wow how nice. Just when I was feeling bad about losing school funding and the poor campers being run over while they sleep and the city generally burning down this story comes into my living room. A big fancy EXPENSIVE ceiling at the airport. As if the Garagemahall wasn't enough bling.
The airlines reportedly paid for almost all if not all of it. Maybe if we raise the corporate taxes we’d have more money for other things.

Its beautiful... the city on the other hand. The politicians destroyed that. Make Portland great again and vote out liberals!
We need more moderates and less stupid policies that are not well thought and allowed to pass. But republicans aren’t the answer. We need some better independent candidates.
What a huge waste of taxpayer money. There was nothing wrong with the way it was.
Pretty much zero taxpayer money. It's being financed almost entirely by the airline carriers.
This is money well spent. PDX is old this brings it up to date with other world airports.
