The Syracuse game was unfortunately needed to show the team they need to play a complete game every week. If they play 4 solid quarters they will beat everyone on the schedule except boise and they have a shot to beat boise if they can contain the run game .

@@nevadaracer00V Gotta read the rule books and inform your team of the rules. Special teams made it a game for UNLV. Holding UNLV to a field goal in OT was the game. I knew McCord would get a TD even after penalties pushed him back before bringing him forward.

To say UNLV will finish second, is a bit prematurely. Jeanty is a great talent, to mail it in as Boise State is the champion, they are going to have to beat most likely have to beat UNLV twice, that going to be a tough task this year. BSU is not a shoe in to be champions, I think it fair to say BSU - UNLV game will be a good one! We have wait and see!
UNLV is good but the loss against Syracuse showed us: UNLV will be 2nd place in MWC to BSU (Jeanty may rush for 300yds against UNLV): Rebels are still 2-3yrs away from winning the MWC if they recruit well. This isn’t a knock against the Rebels they are significantly better but not ready for the top spot
If they shut down the run then Boise is left lifeless. Their only weapon is Jeanty. UNLV is currently tied for the 18th best rushing defense in the country so I wouldn’t be so quick to count them out.
