      They really need to give her a murder charge or at the very least manslaughter. Her lie led to that poor man's death and an apology will never be enough.
      Remember the case of the young black girl who was found naked and covered in blood in an alley? She said that she was gang raped by a group of white men who also used racial slurs. It was a lie too.

    That lying cop case was disgusting. The jury found the person guilty even when they knew the cop lied. And, the prosecutor fighting so hard to protect the liar even when it was clear the cop lied. That should be grounds for disbarment.

      He lied on a sworn statement
      She tried to defend him even interrupting and disrespecting the judge to save her own ass.
      The jury should have seen right through this.. Thank god in america a judge can overrule a guilty charge. Yes this can cause problems with double jeopardy but most times they declare the case *dismissed* meaning essentially "sorry try again.. And with new evidence"

      I think cancer liars are probably the worst, because there are maybe millions of people suffering in silence and enormous pain and agony. And they don't even tell their families, in some cases.       You don't know the half of what goes on in courts. The D.A.'s lie, cops lie, judges lie and don't admit when they're wrong (THIS is an upstanding judge as far as I can tell)....juries find the innocent...the clearly innocent guilty so they don't get a used of being racist or something similar. Do some research and you will see most accused plea guilty for a lesser charge due to these and many many other factors. Even a lesser charge ruins lives though.

      @@Graeme_Lastname I was once arrested for trying to get into cars, the only problem is I just got back from a blues fest and even showed them my ticket and they still made me spend the night in a cell and let me go at 5am no ride, no apologies, nothing. I was 17 at the time and didn't know any better and I just walked 1h30 back to my car.

    I was a law enforcement officer for 21 years and that lying cop should go to jail for lying under oath and fired. You can always get someone trained to do a breathalyzer test no matter what shift you work or what day it is.

    The fact that the jury still found her guilty tells you everything you need to know about our judicial system. If not for this judge, who knows what would have happened to her. Just imagine how many people this cop and cops in general have done this too.

      I *_know_* for a fact that it happens. I also know that complaining about it is damn pointless unless you've got a pile of surplus cash laying around. It continues to do so and is dragging us towards an inevitable us vs them situation.
      There's just no other options. "They" won't reason or even talk with the hoi polloi. I'm too old to be bothered but I do worry about the grand kids. I played with firecrackers when at primary school and now they're classed as explosives, same as nitroglycerine. I could go to a toy store and buy an air rifle. Now you need a license. Are they free? There's even a permit required to purchase some fertilizer. For every BS rule they make they get more money from you. They haven't got enough nukes to kill everything ten times over yet? Keep well all. :)

      Literally something similar happened to me, the cops lied, got arrested for public disorderly conduct and they wrote down in the report that I was yelling and was wasted as shit and this and that.. so I eventually got out the next day and went to court a month later and literally the cop didn't even show up for court and the judge just dismissed the whole case.

      @@resnonverba137 Nope, as a dangerous criminal who didn't have $2.50 in his pocket while he was visiting his GFs house and an illegal entry and search was made by the police. Nothing was found, because nothing was there. Having been frustrated with that idea, a better one was, he looks like a criminal. I was sentenced to prison by a judge who had a terrible hangover.
      I could smell it.
      The GF was also jailed. Justice system? Vivid imagination. So keep well from this horrible, dangerous criminal who has spent time in jail after he dared visit his GF without $2.50 in his pocked when the police conducted an illegal search and found nothing. Good cops? No such bloody thing. B well m8.

However this guy wasn’t homeless and wasn’t a stranger apparently

    Jessica, the woman faking cancer, was recently charged with attempted kidnapping. It is a weird story and her husband here is now very much so her ex-husband. He calls her flat out evil for the things she has done including getting their kids taken away from him. She is a real piece of work.

    I've been unfortunate to have 2 *very, very* close loved ones _completely lie about having cancer! For years my Aunt lied to the family saying that she had breast cancer for years. She passed away in May '96 from a brain aneurysm, and guess what?! She'd never had cancer, EVER! 2nd was my ex! Just 2 weeks after I'd lost both my uncle and grandfather, my bf of 3 years came home with this defeating news! We cried and talked a lot about his final wishes, etc. _THIS TOO_ was a F'N LIE! And people wonder why I don't trust easily anymore!
