Gorgeous Journey To The Winter Wonderland ⛄ of Kashmir, Gulmarg | With

Although the name translates to ‘Meadow of Flowers,’ Gulmarg is incredibly pretty when covered by snow as well, which is how we found it when we arrived here on our adventures exploring Jammu & Kashmir. This winter wonderland offers a lot for all kinds of visitors, so come along on our journey!
When in the snow-covered mountains, we couldn’t pas up the chance to get a quick skiing lesson. After a few falls we slowly got the hang of it and were actually able to enjoy the scenic beauty around us!
Speaking of scenic beauty, Gulmarg is home to what is touted as the second-highest and second-longest gondola ride in the world! Connecting the Kongdori and Apharwat peaks, this gondola ride offers panoramic views of the majestic mountains like you’ve never seen before!
We’ve all seen waterfalls, but have you ever seen a frozen waterfall? Dung Waterfall is a unique local landmark that freezes over for about 40 days in the winter months, giving it an almost ethereal beauty that you’ll struggle to find elsewhere. What’s more? The best way to get there is on an ATV, which is a lot of fun!
