First, unlike prior Israeli wars (e.g. your inapt 1967 comparison), Iran is A LOT FARTHER AWAY, which makes any conflict EXPONENTIALLY HARDER! Second, your blather about preemptive military strikes doesn't prevent Iran from attacking Israel but ENSURES IT! Why? Because Israel does NOT have the military power to destroy so much from so far away (i.e. prevent a subsequent attack). Thus, a second...and substantially increased...attack on Iran leaves them no choice but to attack Israel (e.g. they aren't going to allow 2 attacks to go unanswered). Third, the US isn't stopping Israel from doing anything. However, US support is NOT a blank check! Irrespective of whether I agree with Slow Joe, if you tell the American President you don't care what he thinks....well, don't expect American support. Israel has NO RIGHT to US military support! Sometimes friends and allies can expect assistance, but it isn't unlimited nor a matter of entitlement. Lastly, why would you say anything so dumb as saying Israel would not nuke Tehran if Iran nuked Tel Aviv?! Apparently you don't understand how nuclear deterrence works. I know this is all very emotional for you, but you need to think a lot clearer.
