I do understand detangling and arm pain. I just washed my hair last night and I had to stop and rest. I'm not doing a big chop, so I'm working with my hair : )
I am DETANGLING as we speak...dread "shampoo day!" Your video was sooooo helpful! I parted my hair into 4 sections, sprayed water to dampen it just a bit, and then sprayed my virgin olive oil (and conditioner) mix on. I was able to comb right through my hair with ease! I'm under the dryer now...will head to the shower afterwards to shampoo (in 4 sections)! This will be my first time shampooing in 4 sections, and I hope it makes my detangling process go a lot smoother. I am almost 5 months post relaxer, and the STRUGGLE IS REAL!!! I am also about 50% gray which makes the struggle ever MORE REAL! Gray hair is extremely dry, and I think it makes detangling even more of a challenge. I get so many compliments on my gray hair, but people just don't know...ugh!!! I was 23 when I got my first relaxer, so I know how to deal with natural hair, but it's the 2 textures that's a hot mess to deal with~thanks again for the video...hope this process works for me!
Thank You SOOOOO MUCH for this video! My Daughter has been transitioning to natural hair for about a year now and it has become a pain in the last few months when it comes to washing her hair. This video made the process so much easier for the both of us. She is 10 years old and was able to wash her hair all by herself in the shower! Thank you again!
it looks so easy the way you do it. I've tried so many things on my hair to reduce breakage but nothing works. I have so much tangling and breakage that whenever I touch my hair it just breaks. I am really desperate now. Hope u can help
Thanks for the information. I have not t been taking care of my hair lately. I admit when I finally wash my hair it is extremely dry and tangled. I felt hopeless trying to detangle it so I just opted to cut the matted areas out. My hair is very dry now and matted but I feel confident that this will be very helpful and lead to far less breakage and hope. Thanks again this will help me more than you will ever know
I found out that the Eden Body Works coconut co wash melted my tangles really easy. Best thing, it does not cost more than 8 $ at Sally's beauty supply. Your video is inspiring me to transition as well.
Seeing this video gives me hope. We have similiar hair texture and my hair is at this stage which is sooooo hard to deal with. I break down almost every wash day. Seeing your hair today gives me hope that I can get to a place where I love my hair. Thank you for your videos.
I have always detangled with a liquid detangler. I know conditioner can be used but never tried before. Omg last night I tried the conditioner method, my hair was very tangled free, loss less hair than I normally do. Happy you did this video. I haven't relaxed since last year July, curious to know how you wash your hair.
Hi Michelle, thanks for your video. I just started transitioning this year and am new to all the different types of products. I would like to know if you detangle before shampooing and deep conditioning your hair or after these two processes? Thank you
How often to you do that routine of de tangling? Is it just before you wash. Is your hair ever super dry when you wake up. Ever use any kind of oils for your new growth ? Thanks.
dunno where i been but ur hair GREW! i decided to transition as well in august so thank u so much for this video it really helps as detangling causes me the most temptation to wanna rip my hair off lol so thanks! i must get that conditioner
love your hair Can you do the whole wash day routine please ? I'm thinking about transitionning to but whole stuff scares me a lot because it's gonna change all my habits about my hair.
Hey hun good video. I cant believe you did your own hair lol. I know your arms was tired. How long are you trying to transition? And yes will love to see wash day video if you can I know you must be exhausted.
Hi ..i was wondering if this method can be done on relaxed hair that's not transitioning. I get perms every 6 months n the new growth is a lot and terribly thickkkkkk..n my hair tends to tangle and can this be done to my hair even though I'm not transitioning
You HAVE to tell me what is your hair type !!! Im relaxed and im trying to transitioing , and i dont know what my hair type , and its looks like we have the same type ,so you will help me please ? 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I tried this yesterday and it worked great! I did unfortunately loose a bit more of hair than necessary because I didn't listen to you and rushed lol
Have you tried kinky curly knot today? That stuff is amazing for getting thru knots and tangles
I love Knot Today but it's a little bit expensive to use it to detangle every week. I''ll use it as a leave in sometimes :)
Yea it is but I buy it anyway lol otherwise I would be bald
This is going to help me with detangling my daughters hair! Thanks for posting this video!

hi Michelle I'm Kammie from Trinidad, what is your hair type.
Wash day routine plz!
I want to see your wash day routine.
You have very nice waves. Does it curl up when dry? I don't know a lot of people with this texture so I guess I'm curious. :)
Thank you! Yes, when it dries, it shrinks up even more.
Please show us ur wash day routine!:)
What does it mean for a conditioner to have a lot of slip? Does that just mean it's not as thick (sorta like it's been watered down a little)?
It means it's easy to detangle, I'm sure it doesn't mean it's water down
Is this specifically for a wash day?
wash day routine please :) really enjoyed
do you still use henna?
Hi ..i was wondering if this method can be done on relaxed hair that's not transitioning. I get perms every 6 months n the new growth is a lot and terribly thickkkkkk..n my hair tends to tangle and can this be done to my hair even though I'm not transitioning
Yup
I dont think so, I really think she did this for her transtioning hair & showed us what she does.
& then for all the people who are transition and dont know how to detangle.
