Another wonderful video from you two. Please mic Zarko separately so that we can clearly hear your conversations and all of Zarko's comments. We want to hear him, too!
La Belle France - it's so beautiful on the Cote D'Azure - I've been to Cannes and Antibes but not Eze - next time! You are racing through the ports on this leg - so many places so close together - I imagine no sea days at all for a while. Looking forward to the next French stops - your vlogs keep getting better and better!
Eze is lovely ❤ and you did the best thing- buying time by travelling in an Uber. However I don't think my knees will thank me for the steep climb and all those steps. Thank you Tressa and Zarko for this video that at least now I know I can take the train to Antibbes from Cannes railway station. Is the station a long walk from where the tender docks?
The tender boat dropped us at the pier and it was maybe about 15 min walk alongside the waterfront, turn left and couple of blocks and you are there. The garden area at the very top where the steps are is optional and is an extra charge to get in. You will enjoy a leisure walk through the village.
I guess its hard to choose, but from all the port stops so far, what has been your favourite meal? And Zarko, where have you had the nicest beer? ❤ your favourite Aussie follower🐨
Gee this is a hard one to answer. We had some great meals such as the lunch in Rio, the lunch in Portofino with the view. Zarko doesn’t discriminate that much about the beer except it is influenced a lot by the surroundings and the temperature. He says it is hard to beat Pilsner Urquell.
Thank you for asking about the drone shots. We've been wondering whether the drone shots are their own or whether they are captured from elsewhere. I haven't heard them mention their drone at all.
We didn’t take any of our drones with us on this trip. Lately using drones is banned in many places and annoys a lot of people. We use stock footage from our creative cloud subscription. Drone footage is great for establishing shots and to give you a perspective of the area. In the past we packed drones on our travels but we hate using them. We find them to be very intrusive. Adobe Stock is a great source for stock footage and shutter stock.
The French Riviere looks pretty but there are no beaches to any substantial degree like you find in Southern California, Florida and elsewhere in the Unites States ...very overrated imo..........,,,,,only a few yards where there's a beach area....Was the train a TEE high speed train.....
I have to disagree. So many beaches which are great for lounging are crowded and filled with umbrellas or cabanas. The French Riviera is prettier for NOT having great sand beaches.
Beautiful 💖
We’ve stayed at Chateau Eze!!! I loved the garden at the top too.
