Great observations. It makes perfect sense that they'd scan the wrestlers for multiple purposes. The fact that the action figure roster mostly matches up with the game roster AND with the same specific attires really backs up your theory.

So it makes sense that there’d be synergy and coordination, even if wrestlers aren’t scanned at the same time. If you look through the entire toy line, there’s only a handful of wrestlers that have toys but didn’t make the roster.

Certainly some free goodwill dlc is a must,if and when players return then maybe paid dlc can be a possibility but to expect anybody to pay after the first dlc rollout is foolish
Hey! Thanks for the comment. Free DLC is a must at this point. They’ve lost so much goodwill with the rollout and lack of transparency. If they don’t, I can’t reasonably believe people will support another game down the line.
@WaggleFest needs cage match, tornado tag, 4 player ladder match, reworked pin/ref system, backstage areas, weapons need new animations and should get 4 or 5 uses out if each atleast, instead of 2, and some sort of different single player option to stay busy since road to elite was short and sucked ass. Matches should last a couple.l minutes longer.. And obviously needs a huge update to caw. Those couple things along with a few new wrestlers would go a long way to making this a real contender to have serious lasting appeal and replayability. If they worked and worked I feel it could get there in a year and a half, if they just added bit by bit as time goes on. As we all know, the base is there, it has an extremely solid foundation just not alot else

I think at this point, the most we can hope for is a create-a-ppv mode because I don’t think we’ll get a full GM mode. I do think even that addition would go a long way to add replayability
I like this theory but that would mean they should release characters that have action figures already(Santana & Ortiz, red velvet, Shawn spears etc etc) i like this theory cuz it makes sense! We need more characters in the game as well as more titles and match types! Especially for the ones that paid 80$!!! If you look at AEW's full roster, only a fraction of the wrestlers get action figures.What's driving my theory/speculation is that if you look across the all of the Unrivaled and Unmatched toys series, there's a much higher correlation between the wrestlers that have figures and the roster that made the game. Zyddie also denied the updated release dates of the DLC that was on the Nintendo eshop, which ended up being correct. I legit think he gets his info just as we do. It’s unfortunate because Zyddie ends up looking bad and gets the brunt of the community’s frustration.
Cautiously Optimistic. But let down that the content in AEW Fight Forever is Meager. I don't want more Gimmick modes like Barb Wire Matches or Stadium Stampede. Simple Matches like Tornado Tag Team, Fatal Four Way, etc. Along with QOL changes, like pinfalls not being random two minutes in the game. Fight Forever is a great game, I remember reading that Yuke's and Omega butted heads a lot, and I can see why. Yuke's always thrived to make complex and fun games, but they had to comply with making other stuff, like mini-games and stadium stampede. I hope they're given more freedom to make the game shine.

I can’t lie I’m very disappointed with my AEW FF “premium” purchase… $30 extra for 6 characters since launch was CRAZY. I’m a diehard AEW fan but I can’t 🧢 I’m very much so disappointed with my purchase.

Get rid of rhe mini games, and swadoum stampede, focus more on a career mode storr and character customization, y'know the things rhe devs are used to doing...then maybe I'll buy the game. I saw they don't even have an exhibition mode when my nephew was playing and trying to not act disappointed 😂 I was like: "Damn man, that's sad how they do kids this generation..."

I’m saying if you look at the toy line in general, where lots of decisions are made regarding manufacturing, profitability & TV programming, it could be a predictor of who AEW is focusing on and may end up in the game. It’s all good if you disagree, but I think it’s more than a coincidence. I think wrestlers are getting scanned for the game and the toy line simultaneously.

I think the grapple system is dope and the animations are cool, it’s just missing waaaaaaay too much to be a full priced game. If this came in at a budget price, I might forgive it, but it’s missing cage matches, tornado tags, and many of the expected features of wrestling games of the last 20 years. Really, IMO the gameplay and grapple system is the most redeeming thing about the game.
I really miss the days before dlc. You buy a game, and you unlock hidden characters at the 60 dollar price tag.

Samos Joe should be a no brainer for season 2 infact they should include a version of him wearing the Sweet Tooth (Needles Kane) attire.
I def think Joe is at the top of the list for season 2
Hopefully, since stadium stampede came in with charachter dlc, they can include match types or something in this this season.

They can add whoever they want but until i can have a full entrance and a better caws section they can just trash the game
Full entrences are so not important compared to what they need. I skip entrances already. It needs stuff that will give it replay value
