Review of Shimungwe Game Lodge - Thornybush Game Reserve 🐾

It is brilliant value for money for an all-inclusive safari in the Greater Kruger that is wildlife focused and at the lower end of a mid range budget.

So pleased that you focus on the wildlife. They can keep the ‘ bells & whistles’ which most people probably don’t use
How many vehicles do they have on the road for game drives/ do they limit it to 6 persons per vehicle ?( unrelated guests)
How many hours are the game drives typically?❤

Thanks so much, I appreciate that. They only have one vehicle as there are only a maximum of 8 guests in camp. And so the vehicle will accommodate up to 8 guests. It’s usually at a higher price point that you will find only 6 guests on a vehicle.
The drives are around 3.5 hours long, maybe 4 if you’re at a really exciting sighting and don’t want to leave too soon. They are very accommodating at Shimungwe ☺️
