- It has been taking over my social media feed for far too long, I had to test it out. With 10% of profits going towards marine conservation, it seems like a pretty good deal to me. Let’s see how they shake out compared to my regular bath towel.

Wonder what it'd be like after a few washes
I used mine all summer in 2021 as a beach blanket and a towel, the washing didn't seem to effect it from what I can tell.
They claim with each wash it gets more softer and more absorbent
As long as you don’t use fabric softener and ruin the absorbency
Now that you've had a chance to use it, how does it dry body? Is it like a microfiber towel in the sense you have to pat dry more than just rub? Also does it repel sand when it's wet? How do you feel about it overall any complaints?
I have to pat myself dry for a skin thing already so I have not tried using it rubbing dry actually; patting works just like a normal towel to me.
More sand sticks to it when wet but not nearly as much and is easier to shake off since the fibers don't form a bunch of little loops like a normal towel does.
I feel that if you go swimming or to the beach often it is a worth-it purchase to not be annoyed at sand on everything all the time, I am not sure I would buy any to replace my home use towels though since I am not battling sand in that instance.
One person tested throwing both towels in a pool and the sandcloud stayed floating
