My Aussie would play like this, my wife upset thinking I was teasing him. He definitely knew the game; he knew who his pack leader was; he knew his pack leader would always take care of him. Best, smartest, most well trained and gentle dog ever. Still haven't committed to training and starting again. I miss him.
It took me 7 years between my last shepherd mix girl and my two almost 3 years old now dobbie girls, so it's been a decade since my dear sweet Zana and I still speak of her often, they are truly a gift us humans may not be worthy of. I'm sorry for your grief but I'm happy you had him and all those lovely memories.

The waffles looked so easy to make with only 3 ingredients. Obviously Key approved of the taste since he devoured every one of them on the waff hunt. He made such a great kitchen helper by tasting them to make sure they were okay to eat.

Careful it’s pure pbutter, regular brands have harmful ingredients for dogs…erythritol…something else, can’t recall. The pumpkin would give nutrition and some sweetness. Fun!

As long as the peanut butter is not sweetened with Xylotol, processed/ready made peanut butter should be ok for doggos.
Your dog is absolutely adorable & vocal in the cutest way possible. My 3 year old German shepherd tend to sit up( front paws off the ground) when he is in the kitchen. He figures that by being clever he’ll be rewarded which he knows he will. Keep up the good work. Kind regards.

For pumpkin puree,go to the baby food aisle and get a jar of it, my mum grabs a jar and gives a couple of spoonfuls to her dog on top of her dogs biscuits, mums dog loves that treat. Mums dog is a bichon/ shitzu.

Yay, the Waffle Biscuits are wonderful! Great idea for making impressions on them.
I have looked up home-made dog treats and they are all the same as this or very similar.
Note: Don't give your dog peanut butter with Xylitol. In face, neither dogs nor people should have any sweetener that ends with "ol."
Baking tip: Whisk the egg a bit in a seperate bowl. Start with putting the flour in the bowl first, then make a well to put in the wet indgrediants.

I think the bubbles in your waffle biscuits were the egg whites. Always beat your eggs well in any baked goods before adding any other ingredients. Although Key obviously didn't care! Such a good boy!

If you put small drop of olive oil or a no stick spray in measuring spoon, the peanut butter will slide right out
