It’s like ‘nam man. I just can’t let go. The flashbacks… the awful flashbacks… the cold sweats in the night.
The porgs... so many porgs....
@@herrikudo I like porgs, because I like all cute things (see my avatar). They were the one good thing about the movie.
I seen things maaan,and some stuff…I wouldn’t recommend it 😄
@@IndyDefense They were just decoration and fluff it doesn't save Last Jedi being utter dogshit.
@Brian Babin Well I mean they were created to deal with all the real-life puffins that were on the island.
I had a black shirt custom made that says: "The Last Jedi" with the word "Jedi" crossed out with a red slash and under it, it says "Nail". I get ALOT of comments on it. :D
Well i hope those "comments" better state that the shirt is a piece of art.
And historical fact.
Where can I get this shirt? Lol
@@robbyrdog My daughter-in-law own's a custom t-shirt business. But due to the proprietary nature of this shirt, she was only comfortable making it for me. Pretty sure she can't sell them.

I think Jeramy is one cool dude. Maybe we will see films that aren’t WOKE soon. It’s how studios will make money.
Same way with gaming as well.
We saw the Tomorrow War recently so we could be on the right path
We’re starting to see more non work films push through. The Green Knight, Free Guy, Tomorrow War, and The Suicide Squad. I think blockbusters are beginning to step away from that a little bit now
Godzilla vs kong wasn't woke. Suicide squad wasn't woke
@@toddmerlon5846 and people also forget the one sport that people forget that went woke but didn't get broke (it gained a new audience due to Netflix too). It's Formula One.
When the time that Liberty Media took over the sport in 2017, the issue that not made me happy at all was the banning of the grid girls. A lot of people were pissed for that, and rightfully so, to the point that they left the sport and at the end of the day they went woke...
The real answer to the last part is did they go broke? From 2017 to 2021 (from Liberty Media takeover to now in the US on it's own, I don't know fully the full viewership in the UK is yet due to the fact that the season hasn't ended yet but even they are doing well as well.
Did they went broke? To viewers, RUclipsrs and fans? The answer? No.
For example, is Netflix. If most of Netflix's shows are woke (it is)? Did they went broke? No. In order to go broke in my eyes, they have to go out of business. Just like Sears and Kmart or in another case like what would have been for Toys R Us (remember the raising of the grave of Geoffrey and was trying to return to the stores in either 2019 or 2020?)...
Has Netflix went broke? No. Why? They have to go out of business first or before that be bankrupt.
But at the same time... They are a lot of the gaming world that got woke. There may be one or two off the top of my head that will do so and also already did...
Will they go broke?
On Blizzard's case? Yeah. They may not make it to the next decade due to the lawsuits in the present. Not even moving to Texas will save them...
What about the rest? The answer? No... And people will keep buying regardless. The only thing the will make a massive difference is a gaming crash 2.0 that won't happen in the future or the present... Or it might take place now... Who knows? But right now, not even close.
So that is my thoughts...
It's not just a shit Star Wars film, it's a shit film PERIOD.
Yep
Are u kidding? TLJ is the best of all the star wars movies. My only criticism is there were rumors Luke was going to come out as a LGBTQ member and they should have touched on that. But the movie is great. I love the Kylo-Rey relationship. It is source star wars. The foundation of all star wars ideologies.
It's just a PERIOD. The Disney trilogy is dogshit.
@@tubesockvii2351 If you like it because of that weird relationship GTFO. The story was already written and they tossed it out, Disneied it up, pissed on it and then took your money. It's objectively bad and you should feel bad for liking it.

*_"Monetize the hate." - YoungRippa59_*
I’m gonna be completely honest here. Yes, I have always hated this movie ever since I first saw it, but I was frightened that people would hate me just because I hated the movie, so I pretended to like it when around people who liked the film. I was afraid of sharing my opinion. But it was Geeks and Gamers and many others who taught me to never be afraid to say my opinion on something, and it is one of many reasons why I am a supporter of Geeks and Gamers, and will never stop my support ever. Love you guys.
Never have I seen it yet, nor to plan to see it. Did see Force Awakens, left the theater in utter disappointment, and know the next was going to be bad.
@@gungral2097 I personally wouldn’t recommend checking out the 2 sequels to it, but it’s entirely up to you if you want to watch them or not.
Bro when I first watched the last jedi (for my birthday) it was a terrible movie! I only enjoyed seeing Yoda. They treated Luke like he was garbage and the story and plot is still garbage. Who knew there were people who hate opinions. Oh wait, I forgot twitter existed.

And the bit I really disliked was theresponse of main stream commentators who didn’t acknowledge all of the above… probably because they want to keep early access privileges from Disney.

My favorite is Tales of the Jedi series I’ve listened to the Audio drama of Dark Lords of the Sith part 1 my favorite I LOVE Exar Kun, Nomi Sunrider and Ulic Qel Droma easily my favorite EU characters. I also got the Revan novel it takes place few yrs after they destroy Darth Malak and his Sith Empire on Star Forge Base it involves him going after Emperor Vitiate. I want to get the Legacy Comics those look amazing takes place 130 ABY following Cade Skywalker and the reigning of Darth Krayt’s Rule of One Sith Empire.
The movie series ended at episode 6. Everyone can have their opinions and not hating on those who likes the pretend sequels but for the True fans, the Return of the Jedi is where the saga ended. The last three films are just expensive Disney fan films, in my opinion of course.

I had a bad feeling, my family dragged me and I hated it. Everyone else loved it because it was "fun". They said I wasn't a real fan. I felt very alone.
Yes! You're definitely not alone! I didn't like TLJ as well and I've met a lot of people of different age groups who think the same.

Cringe. Get over it.
I didn't see it opening night, but my wife and I went with a small group of friends the second night. Before we watched the film, we all went to dinner, and one of the guys there had seen it the night before. Just before we left the restaurant, he said to me, "Yeah...you're going to hate this movie." I kind of chuckled and blew it off... I sat through it, getting more and more disgusted as time went on. When Admiral Purple Hair pulled her bullshit hyperspace collision fuckery, I finally burst out, "OH, FOR FUCK'S SAKE!" Then, after it had finally ended, as I walked through the theater lobby in shocked silence, I finally said, "What the actual fuck did I just watch?" And that was the first Star Wars movie to play in theaters since the Special Edition came out in 1997 that I didn't go back and watch multiple times. And I've not watched a new Star Wars movie since.

You can clearly tell it was made by a man that has a hatred for Star Wars. Johnson isn’t a fan whatsoever. Literally from beginning to end the story doesn’t progress at all. The fact that people praise this still gives me laughter.
TLJ cost Disney about a $1,000 from me. And I still haven't watched Rise of Skywalker.

Solo wasn’t to bad, but I’m with you for as I left the theater, and the audience was cheering “I was like how did I and these people watch the same film?” As a fan, I knew right then and there that Star Wars fandom would ever be the same!
The fact that they used the same tropes in Masters of the Universe proves The Last Jedi was a giant trolling meant to make people angry.
They have to keep talking about it because it was so bad that many just left the IP and don't even care. As soon as the producers stopped taking things seriously, so did the lifelong fans.
However, I think TLJ can play to a demoralized generation that looks to perceived authority, in order to find their truths, having no critical thought of their own, just drones that can't trust their own inner voice due to systemic demoralization in movies and in our schools.
Have you seen “Nihilism and postmodernism in Hollywood” by David Stewart? He pretty much say the same things as you do here. It’s a very thoughtful video.

It's garbage! Just like the spider menace!
I just pretend the sequel trilogy doesn’t exist. Rogue One was okay. Solo was… 🤷♂️. The OT & PT (Episodes I-VI) are the only Star Wars movies I give a 💩 about.
Rogue One is in my top three Star Wars movies, the others being Star Wars and Empire. Return of the Jedi is ok, the prequels sucked, and Disney's trilogy is absolute garbage.
Agreed; I don't love or hate Solo...I'm just wholly disinterested in it. It was a film no fan was asking for, provided fan service on parts of the universe no one had interest in learning, and there was more than the average amount of cringe in it. It has a few interesting sequences but absolutely nothing about it makes me want to see it more than the one time I did in theaters. Man of Steel doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as The Last Jedi.
Mainly, because MOS is GOOD movie.
The western franchises are lost, is time to move to japanese manga and anime.
The good thing about TLJ was that it became an eye opener to many people of how identity politics ruins something & it keeps proving that. So, ty TLJ for being a good movie for that.

Dude Jeremy your experience with the last Jedi was the same as mine. At first I was OK with it but then when I really analyzed the film, I didn’t like it. I didn’t like how they handled Luke Skywalker, Rey, and Finn.
Finn's character was ok in TLJ though. He went from a guy that wanted to escape to a person that was ready to die for the Resistance.
At least that's a far better story for Finn than just shouting Reeeeey.
@@DaraG-sn2nj Well see that’s the problem I have. Finn wanted to run at first in the force awakens and then he joined the resistance because of Rey. Then all of a sudden in the last Jedi he wants to run again? It feels like they wasted Time by making finn run away again.
@@Steel-101 I think he only joined the Resistance to rescue Rey from the Starkiller base.(I don't think he really cared about the resistance that much in the end of TFA and he just wanted to save Rey)

@@DaraG-sn2nj Finn wanted to escape the First Order because of his trauma about being expected to kill civilians and how every one around him found death so inconsequential. Remember how he leaned over his dying Stormtrooper friend, when no others would have likely done that. The idea that he should dedicate himself and even die for the Resistance is actually pretty tone deaf and insulting.
When I first saw TLJ I knew it was awful. Anyone with a brain would’ve done the same.
These people just consume and consume and consume EVERYTHING without having any ideas what a good story is. It's just sad how people believe that TLJ was a masterpiece and couldn't have been better.......every fan would have created a better story than Rian Johnson.

It's okay to hate a movie people love. I respect Jeremy expressing his opinions. I may not always agree with what Rotten Tomatoes says. We have our own opinions and we have to respect them, like it or not.
The only reason why TLJ is being brought up is as a comparison between Ruin Johnson and Kevin Smith and pretty much any creator who just goes out there insulting fans.
I do agree TLJ needs to die and stop being put in the spotlight bc it's a trash movie.

I haven't typed this in a while... Where is Rian Johnson's trilogy? 😁 Keep it up Jermy Grimes🤘🏻
Satan plays it for the SJWs, and will for all eternity.
When I sat down to see TLJ I was a fan, when I stood back up I wasn't.
Jeremy is able to admit that he was blinded by his fandom. Not everyone can do that. For me, I figured out exactly what was going on about half way through the film. Then, when they killed off Luke in such an unceremonious fashion, preventing him from redeeming himself in the next film, I realized not only did I hate this film, but I hated the direction of our society as a whole. This film would never have been allowed to be this way even 5 years prior to it's release.
When I got home from the theater, I began thinking about the film in depth, as usual. But this time, the more I thought about the film, the more I realized how shit it was. Then when I found out the director of the film literally said his idea of a good movie was when half the audience hated it...
Saw the movie once, that was more than enough. Received the bluray as a gift, used it as a coaster.
Always gratifying when people let you live in their heads rent free like that.

I became part of the G&G community because they helped me realize that hating TLJ was okay. But that was a long time ago. We’ve moved on.
But we still hate TLJ.
I hated Episode 9: Rise of Skywalker. Rise of Skywalker was as terrible as the sitcom The Big Bang Theory.

DDay Cobra is on FIRE!
When I went and saw The Last Jedi, I remember walking out of the movie theater and being so disappointed. I was so excited to see where the trilogy was going after everything that was set up in TFA. What was Luke’s reaction going to be to Rey finding him? Who are Rey’s parents? Who found Luke’s lightsaber in Cloud City? What is Snoke’s true identity? Then The Last Jedi came along and made me feel like I was wasting my time by caring about those storylines. Luke was a bum, Rey was a nobody, and we just forget that Luke’s lightsaber was conveniently in the possession of Maz Kanata, and Snoke’s origins were still left unexplained as the movie killed him off. I remember finding one of your videos criticizing the movie and it was honestly such a relief finding someone else who was seeing the movie the way I saw it when it seemed like everyone else online was praising it for being the best Star Wars movie ever created. TLJ is just evidence that Disney had no plan for their trilogy and were just winging it as they went along. Then Rise of Skywalker came along and was pretty much a bad fanfic just retconning the entire trilogy. I’m with you, Jeremy. I have absolutely no interest in anything Star Wars right now which honestly makes me sad because I loved Star Wars growing up.
To this day I still haven't seen TLJ or RoS. The last Star Wars related thing I watched was R1. Never seen the Mandalorian. Haven't seen the bad batch, none of it. Star Wars is dead.
star wars was basically dead with force awakens, i liked that movie, it had warning signs that star wars was doomed
TLJ is the reason I didn’t bother with TROS to this day and why I didn’t subscribe to Disney+ to see Clone Wars S7 or The Mandalorian at first.
I just felt so numb for something my grandfather had let me watch since I was like 6. I still have his VHS set of the OT with George interviews at the beginning of each film. TLJ was just that bad…and none of the prequels made me or my grandfather feel that way when we saw those in theaters.
I mean Star Wars Visions looks pretty cool

My initial reaction the last Jedi was alright. I came away thinking they missed several really powerful character moments. I thought Kylo failing to pull the trigger when Leia was blasted into space was interesting, then they ruined it with the Mary Poppins bullshit. I felt the same thing with Rose flying in the last second to stop Fin from making a heroic sacrifice.
Who would've guessed it would've turned out like this....oh wait, the fandom did.
The entire dumpster fire that was Disney Star Wars over the course of the past 8 years was all predicted by Star Wars fans or at least the Star Wars Legends fans.
The Last Jedi created such a headache for Disney and Lucasfilm, they are still putting out the fires today!
Well explained. I'd hate to be attached to groups where it is a sin to change your mind on something like a movie.
When I left the theaters seeing TLJ it felt like a funeral. It was silent. You could feel the confusion and anger in the air at what we all witnessed. It was the first time I’d been to a SW film where people didn’t clap or cheer. Even the prequels got cheers. TLJ was a snuff film!
Girthy you are absolutely right. Every time I write down the things Luke did in the movie I still cannot believe it actually happened in the movie.
Hit em Jeremey. Hit them with the damn facts.
What is up with these twitter losers constantly making posts about another person's opinions on a movie? It's ironic how they tell us to let it go when it seems they can't in regards to complaining about people who disagree with them. For example, I'm still into Star Wars like the shows and games, but I'm not going to get all riled up and cry about people who don't share the same opinion.
To be honest with you Jeremy I was in the same boat in terms of TLJ then I watched it multiple times in theaters and realized it was trash myself. Lol
Ok, everyone here needs to realize that The Last Jedi was not a political film. Its that a bunch of right wing reactionaries latched onto the backlash to the film and spread their political views to those disenfranchised. As a side note, I didn't really like the sequel trilogy, but not for the same reasons these reactionaries tell me why I shouldn't like it. You all talk about being preached to about a left wing "sjw" agenda, yet you push a right wing reactionary agenda. Im personally a center left person, so Im not what you would call "full blown sjw". Its just that all this rhetoric is what is ruining Star Wars as a fandom.
Only movie I thought was sjw was 8. 7 and 9 weren’t
Bro you’re the one talking about it😂😂
This is like your third video talking about that damn clip. You've talked more about this clip in the last 6 months than you have talking about actual Disney Star Wars.
Dude I loved star wars and the force awakens.I was pissed off after 20 minutes of the last Jedi.I stood up and yelled this is shit and people just shook their heads in agreement.
Great video Jeremy!
TLJ is the gift that keeps on giving. This trashfire of a film has boosted so many RUclips channels and continues to do so lol
I found GG because I hated TLJ and I needed to know if anyone else saw the same dumb ass movie I saw. In the middle of the movie I was wtf am I watching. I started to fall asleep. At the end no one clapped. Got to the car pissed in disbelief about what I had watched and how it destroyed SW.
The title alone made me laugh and hit the like button. I agree with everything that was said
The more they attack Gringo Ivan, the more powerful he becomes.
Not being able to read social cues and not talking to people that disagree with you is one way of only being able to hear what you wanna hear. 🤷♂️
These people have Jermey living rent free in their heads
