Nostella and Nokron made me feel so uncomfortable. They were trying to create an artificial god through the Silver Tears, which aren't even well known to us. They were primed and ready to start killing gods like the Godskins, but I think they would have succeeded if they weren't nuked from orbit.
The realization that the upside down background structures you saw in Siofra River in the distance could actually be traversed to...ah, no game comes close to this environment design.
I always love getting to Noxtella when I do a new playthrough. Such perfect dark ambience. It feels like, unlike with Nokron, you’ve found a Nox city that is very much still alive, and does not want you in it.
I, myself don't even want to be in this city bc of all ants & Nox but totally get what you're saying you're right, it's so creepy that there are still beings occupying this city GET ME OUTTA HERE
Now I want to read a story about an archeologist who, after a successful (if a bit dangerous) explanation of Nokron makes the journey to Nokstella and ends up meeting a cryptic demise. Not exactly Lovecraftian, but still with some creeping horror vibes.

The most beautiful area in the game imo
the "stars" are more prominent & visible in Nokstella than Nokron
I dunno why, this music gives me Mibu Village vibes from Sekiro
the people/things? of Mibu Village were SOOOO creepy, fish looking lol
good stuff, i wouldnt mind a 2-3 hour version of this.
This hits in another part of the soul
Yeah, the DARK soul 😎😎😎
I sleep with this music ❤it's perfect for a interesting dreams )
Just what I was looking for
careful of the rolling balls
