Thanks! Soon I hope. I've got an unbagging/try on video of my new Japanese Spiderman costume coming up in the next day or two, and then I'll attempt to get back on this one.
I found it easier to use a one piece template and painting the lines on before sewing. Also the eyes would look better if they fit inside the eye slots nearly perfectly with magnets. not bad though
I agree. These homemade lenses are too thick. I have other face shells that I've purchased that have the lenses that work like the ones in your comment. It does look better when the lenses are flush with the mask. I didn't own any professional SM face shells when I made this video.
@@JDJohnston9906753 I don't buy my shells I make them from boxes and use modge podge to harden the shell while keeping it relatively flexible for use. though it does look nice to have a pre fabricated one I don't see the difference when it's under fabric lol.
I suppose it depends on your sewing skills. Patterns for body suits can be found online. It's a relatively easy pattern to follow, but again. Sewing is like anything in life...you can learn it
Idk. Batmans cowl is more rigid isn't it? Guess it depends on which look ur going for. If u try and cut a mouth hole out of this, it might stretch too wide. There are probably better templates online for Batman cowls than this.
But JD can u pls do it like in an easier way and make a spider man suit cuz my brothers 6th birthday is coming and he loves spider man so I wanna make him this
Haha! Idk about that. Sean's Crafts is pretty awesome. I have yet to build a functional web shooter, but it's on my "to do" list! Thanks for the compliment. Much appreciated!
I don't do costume commissions. That's a whole thing that I don't have time for. Check out this guy...he does commissions I believe. ruclips.net/channel/UCOD035X6wCh8i5XebQz-NMg
I’m 15 seconds in and I just see this guy who surprisingly looks exactly like an old Peter Parker
Thanks! . . . I think? 😅
@@JDJohnston9906753 i think its a good thing lol

I got question can be easy to make bodysuit costume for Spidey suit?

but we dnt have a lenses T_T
Can I use this stitching technique template for Batman cowl too?

Is there a part 2 or not??
@@gabrielgs1212 no. I never got back to it
Spectacular.
Can I just draw it and cut it ?
you can try. Idk how it'll come out without a pattern. If you get the proportions of the pattern right, it could work ok. I'm by no means an expert.
Quick question do you have to print it on your own printer or any public printer
Either one I suppose. I printed it on my home printer.
cool video! Very helpful
Thanks!
I just use excel on windows its easier to size

Template bro
It's not my pattern. The template is the online pattern. I tell everyone where to find it in the first minute of the video. Thanks for watching!
I wish I could make that
I'm sure you could if you wanted to.
