Hey Noobs, its your old fan Clammy Moob here. Bought the R3 last year after talking to you about it in the comments section (your channel grew up so fast!). Just needed to ask what software do you use to mix your video with the commentary? Peace!
I remember hearing about the head tap for “cops ahead” I was in a work trunk and saw a biker coming up quick, we had just passed a cop kinda hidden, so I gave few quick taps saw the thank you nod and hopefully saved a biker buddy a ticket from the boys in blue. Good times.

I finally got another bike after being bikeless for 8 years. Your videos have filled me with knowledge for years now. Thanks for all the good advice and entertaining content. Please keep up the good work and ride safe my dude. Peace.
I never imagined Yammie Noob's channel would become so successful after he went airborne. Going airborne off your bike is a signal to slow down and kill the inner Rossi child.
Great stuff. Enjoy the vid! Just wanted to throw out random brain idea for you for episodes. How to be a passenger and how to ride to with a passenger. Doesn't happen to a lot of us, but seems important. Thanks for the great content as always!
Here in Alaska we have one that isn't used in most places. Put your thumb against your helmet with all your fingers spread wide to indicate a moose on or near the road. They don't have enough sense to get out of traffic.
Father Yammie! Thank you for your videos! i am one of those bikeless about to take the course 650 Ninja squidlets who has benefited from your great wisdom! ;) Keep it comin'!
I ride with a load of people and nobody ever uses these signals lol they signal position changes and lane changes with their feet if they dont have blinkers and do the cop signal and that's it, but then again we have no trouble picking the leaders out because our lead riders are always on hayabusa's and h2's, this will be good to know for the new additions that come from major signaling groups though as we wave people into the pack all the time
It still amazes me how many riders, who have been at it for years, never understood the Low Five, a simple rider to rider greeting. They always felt it imported something was wrong, or was a gang sign
Hey Yam... The "Follow Me" and the "Right Turn" signals look exactly alike (unless I missed something). In my 25 yrs of riding, I've always understood that the "Follow Me" signal was to basically stick your left elbow out to the left and pat the back of your helmet a few times. Anyways, thx for the vid. Keep it up brother. Shiny Side UP from Phoenix!! :)
Me and my bro ride together on our bikes we made up random hand gestures for everything from cops to people following us to slow down or pull over or if we know we will wreck
@@dillonosterhout1705 My best guess is that it's a test to see if anyone actually watches to the end. Since most people move on as soon as (what they perceive is) the end of the video.
I would be a terrible group writer. I always stick my arms and legs out in an effort to stretch a little. Everybody would always think their blinkers are on or there’s a road hazard all over the place. It would be chaos. I always use a blinker but I don’t use hand signals.
I’ve been riding for 37 years, 9 of which I was a motorcycle courier and I have never heard nor seen 85% of these hand signals here in NZ. Love your channel Yammy but if I was riding with anyone who suddenly started gesturing like he was jacking off, pointing at his pants etc, well that would be the end of that ride.
Sticking out your right leg in Europe means you are greeting someone that you are passing on that side because he cannot see your left hand and releasing your throttle makes you look like a noob. What I also use to show my appreciation of the riding quality of fellow car drivers/riders is the 'wanker' signal or slapping the front of my helmet (Homer Simpson's 'Doh!')
Thanks Yammie Noob. One day I dream of owning a bike and riding it on side roads and country roads. Up most respect for people who ride. But if you ride dumb then I pray for your safety. Everyone have a great rest of their day!
Yam thanks to you I just went out and got my permit today and am going to take my test ASAP. Do you recommend getting a bike before taking the test or after?
In Portugal, cops ahead is touching your shoulder, because cops, militares and such, have shoulder-insígnias in there outfits, so you are pointing to those insígnies.
Yammie, love the channel. I feel like I'm learning a lot about saftey and 2wheel culture. Living in Vietnam my arm was twisted to learn to ride a motorbike. I bought a used manual bike. After watching this video I would wonder what you would think of my first bike. I say first because I'm pretty sure I'm not going to drive a car in a very long time.
Arm signals are useless while riding, I have been riding for 10 years give or take. Some of the signals you show are never used LOL. Group rides are for squids.

What does the middle finger mean that I keep getting from car drivers
(notice me senpai)
Depends who it's from. Your friendly neighborhood M.C. might be saying hello. Do NOT return this "wave"
It means, my freind, stop for a minute to play with me.
It means “please smash my side mirrors”
