  • A flight to an abandoned farm, Fine house in Weardale Co Durham UK. First occupied in 1841 and unoccupied since 1962.
    DJI Phantom 4 pro flight.

    Great shots of my daughter's house from the air. Will tell her to have a look. So sad to see Fine House in such a state. It's had 2 temporary roofs on but the last one blew off in storm Desmond I think. I don't suppose it will ever be mended now.

      Cheers Stan. It was still only 2 degrees. I have to wear the hi viz up there, in case I get run over by a sheep.

    great drone video john, but after watching all your great drone videos are you not worried about some unscrupulous farmer shooting your drone down, it has happened in some cases.

      Thanks Colin. Up to now the farmers I've bumped in to have been friendly and asked what I was doing. More likely for a teenager with an air rifle to do something like that. Anyway it's criminal damage at the least and shooting down an unmanned aircraft could potentially carry a twenty year prison sentence.
