Really great information, the attachment system seems pretty straightforward with some small intricacies here and there. Hearing about it indepth with all the values shown is extremely helpful.
Think of it as a multiplier of your base ATK (character ATK + weapon ATK + flat ATK from other sources). Let's say you have 1000 ATK, then a 10% ATK boost adds another 100 to it.
So I have a question. Why not use Phase Resonance over Phase Strike? Phase Strike says you do 15% more damage to target with Phase Element DEBUFFS. I'm not always applying a phase element debuff to every enemy and if my dolls are spread out, they may not all be attack the same target. A good chunk of the time they are attack their own targets unless it's a boss so there is no debuff applied and therefore no 15% dmg increase. I would need to use one doll as setup to apply the direct debuff or use an aoe tile debuff skill, something like Sabrina's water skills. Phase Resonance - If the active skill exploits a phase weakness, gains Phase Boost I (10% damage boost) for 1 turn before the attack. If it exploits two phase weaknesses, increases damage dealt by 10%. - With this you can get up to 20% damage boost by using the correct element and weapon type without needing to apply a debuff before hand, at the very least you get 10% if u only get 1. You're getting 5% more damage out of this if you're getting both and if the boss doesn't have the specific element, you can do a tile debuff which would be the same thing you would have done for Phase Strike. I'm I missing something? Can someone explain if I am?
I think it's because the set requires the use of an active skill to set up the buff. For instance Qiongjiu or Makiatto will set up their Assists/Counters by using their ults, so they won't get any damage amplification from this set for the subsequent attacks.
@@GachaTabi But if the weapon type is exploiting the weakness of the enemy when they counter attack, they will get a 10% bonus at the very least. I understand the reason for phase strike when dealing with bosses. You're not going to have a team that can always take advantage of two weaknesses but you still may need to deal with trash and if you have plan right, a 20% dmg boost on your 1st attack may be all you need to 1 shot a guy instead of having to setup for it instead, by which point it will likely be overkill. idk, it just doesn't seem right that everyone keeps saying the Phase Strike is the best general set for every doll, I can see it for bosses but no one ever states it.
The wording says "active skill", meaning counters or similar actions (not active) would not generate the buff. Enemy weaknesses are also very mixed in most stages, so having the buff at 20% would be most likely more difficult than getting debuffs on enemies, though I guess this depends largely on the team setup and the stage.
I wonder if it possible to get a maximum 200% on all sub stats if you calibrate more and more, the system is pretty similar to the one in the first gfl
Assuming the chance for each stat roll is even (1/20) and they are independent from one another, the chance for a perfect roll is 1/8000 (for a 3 stat piece). In other words, on average every 8000 calibrations you'll see a perfect roll 😅
As someone who is familiar with gfl1 and comes from Genshin I'm kind of sad to see that the calibration system is not as great as in GFL1. On the other hand I'm ELATED that GFL2 isn't like Genshin where you get a potentially great artifact (which are already pretty rare) only for it to become utter trash because the substats destroy it to a level you might as well use it as fodder for something else. I guess it's a good compromise from my perspective. Years of substat shenanigans in Genshin really lowered my expectations.
One way or another, these games design their gear system so that you'll always be wanting to come back for better pieces. I feel the only way to stay sane is to lower your standards for a "good piece" and be able to live with "good enough".
The problem is that it's not clear how they work mechanically, i.e. do they reduce the number of available options from the range of 10-200% to 100-200%, or do they adjust a low roll to 100%? If it's the former, they would always be good to use as you have better odds for a great roll, if it's the latter then they're kinda meh and I wouldn't use them on items that have already above 100% improvements on multiple substats.
This was extremely helpful. Not only you understand the game in depth, but you also know how to explain things clearly. Thank you so much!
I second this, extremely useful.
I wish calibration was like what we used to do in GFL1, just spam it until it's Maxed and be done with it
Best attachment video on youtube. Thank you for such a great video!

I was looking for this. Thank you for the guide! Other content creator pointed me to this video and i'm glad he did.
Wow, great job! Your videos are incredibly informative and engaging 👌
absolutely huge never knew about the lock system, earned a sub good stuff
this video is exactly what i was looking for, ty
Holyshit, top 5 best video guide for this game, i watched a lot of guides and none talked about this crucial system. Thanks for the guide o/
Calm ur tits down
Finally! I was waiting for this guide. Thanks!
This was a super useful video, Thank you.
Great video, man, thanks a lot
Super useful guide bro. Cheers.
One note on the calibration per chip you use gold cost goes up (not sure by how much but its pretty noticeable)
It's 8k per chip, so at most 32k if used on a muzzle. Good thing people don't get too many of them :)
Thanks, very nice guide! Subscribed!
Perfect guide, clear and concise 👌
Absolute banger of a vid, I'm gonna recommend it to whoever asks me attachment questions lmao
Finally a guide, that EXPLAINS something!
I still have question what the attack boost even is tho.

Underrated youtuber
very well made, thank you for that
It was helpful, thank you!
Best gf2 youtuber ❤ would like to see a Tololo guide
THANK YOUUU!!
Well done. Subscribing. Already subscribed lol, more of this please
Sorry, but my dolls are getting only the rustiest, most corroded attachments i can fish out of the swampiest bogs in Russia
Take my life and subscribe! Good guide!
Sehr hilfreich, ka wieso ich das erst jetzt sehe. Danke für die Mühe die du dir mit den Guides machst.

Im just lvl 30 but im starting to get the gist of it
Rare video about the real gacha...
Thanks mate
6:40 very curious about the expansion key, how can we get it?
It will be released eventually, probably in a few months.

So auto mod of gear farming you can select set effect ?!
Yes, you're asked to choose your desired set before you spend your stamina on a stage.
so how to best use the precision chip ? use it for first time calibration once you get a great attachment ?

@@GachaTabi Thanks
Thankful so helpful too bad I already wasted 700k gold on rerolling stats
Don't worry too much about it, in the long term you'll be sacrificing much more than that on the altars of the RNGods 😅
Another helpful video, thank you so much for your good work. 🫡
