- Frustration and disbelief after a gas station in Oakland was raided by dozens of robbers. The owner says police did not respond until several hours later. The act was caught on a surveillance camera.

Any use of force by the officers would be forwarded to internal affairs and to the citizen review boards, who are inherently anti-police.
Cops would then be facing interrogations for their uses of force.
Officers would be looking at potential unpaid suspensions.
If the owner is smart enough, he treats this as a lesson, cuts his losses, sells the place, and moves as far as he can from Oakland. Those criminals will come back as soon as they need more money.

I grew up in Oakland a long time ago. I was an Oakland cab driver in the 80"s when crack hit and Bruce Springsteen played. When I was a kid the Oakland Recreation Department was great and I had a great time. Also got a education and always wanted to thank the teachers .

I was robbed at the shell on hegenberger with a police unit just like that with two 20 something year old Hispanic cops about 50 feet away just watching it all happen. When I asked for help they just shrugged their shoulders and said they were not allowed to chase anyone. What good is this cop in the video gonna do? Absafuckingloutely none!
