I really like the choreography, all sharp and precise movements with minimal set. I would prefer to see the full Carmen from this wonderful cast. Yet, after watching this several times, it is still magically enjoyable, lovely artistry. It always makes a change from the traditional ballet repertoire. I have seen Diana Vishneva in the role but I adore Zakharova having seen her as Swan Queen. She has the most perfect lines imaginable. Tall ballerinas really have the edge when they are soloists. ❤
