The decepticon head is meant to be Megatronus, which is where D-16 gets the idea to rename himself Megatron, it's similar to other origins of Megatron
Every time when I think that the art style is different, source material is changed, I always remember about the animated and Aligned continuities, which got cold shoulder at the start, but then turned out one of the best stories in transformers media
It so weird seeing Optimus as a fun loving guy rather than a man who constantly makes great speeches
Well, this is the origin story so he probably not there yet
I mean that was who he originally was, Transformers Prime and The Movies are the only ones that made Optimus like that.

People were complaining about how michael bay made the transformers look anyway so it no big deal and also Cybertroins weren't made or born with the ability to transform that came later on during their war against their maker the Quintesson AWESOME and orion pax personailty in this movie is right on point because this how he acted in G1
Here's the thing, in the past, we've had awesome TF trailers and some movies turned out to be crap. So why couldn't the opposite be true here? A crappy trailer could turn out to be an excellent movie. They clearly made this trailer to appeal to a younger audience, but if you really look deeper into it, you'll see a whole lot of TF lore. Alot of folks are complaining about the voices. Younger less experienced bots will sound a bit different. We sounded different while growing into our adult selves, why can't they? Furthermore, this is more then just the beginning of the Autobot Decepticon wars, this goes further into the past then that. This is an origin story about the entire transformers race rising up against their oppressors (which I believe are the quintisons), its a revolutionary war they'll be fighting. And I'm betting toward the end of the movie, they'll be a divide in idealities between OP and Megs leading to them parting ways at the end. The Autobot/Decepticon war will not be the primary focus of the film. Don't let the kiddyness of this trailer fool you, or ruin your perception of how good the movie will be. I reserve my judgment for when the movie comes out.

I’ll watch this when it comes out it wouldn’t hurt it’s like Tmnt mutant mayhem . Tmnt mutant mayhem had the humor the heart etc. then you get ur usual transformers stuff wit Transformers/Gi Joe movie . Also on Netflix the war for cybertron series seemed to do the origin already

I love this movie, it's basically a culmination of elements from all other Transformers media.
They have stuff from G1, the IDW comics, Earthspark, Bayverse movies, The new live-action series, Transformers Prime, Transformers Animated, Beast wars, the Fall of Cybertron Videogame, and probably even more we haven't seen

The target of this movie is claerly for the kids to sell toys, im so done with the others trans humans movies, so if this movie make me laft and give me a good time watching just robots kincking some robot asses im fine with that.

You are not alone. My reaction was the same. The humor and voice's to the character threw me off.
In my opinion Mr. Bay don't know Transformers, better stories were told in the Animated Series and the Comics! For me the Bayverse does not exist!

It’s def for kids. It reminds me of Space Jam 2. I’m not really hype for it. I think I was looking for a little more serious origin story. And it’s ok. I’ll wait for it to come to streaming. And the voicing doesn’t feel right either.

From what I've heard the movie gets dark/darker as the story progresses(Fire Brothers)
pretty sure they’re going darker once the war starts. orion and megatronus (d-16?) are very different people than the optimus and megatron we know and love.

Given how the Quintessons are here, I say this takes place long before the time period of when the war broke out, like before the colony planets and golden age.
Best to say this takes place when the Quintessons were occupying Cybertron.

Not even Micheal Bay's early Transformers movies were this CRINGEWORTHY in the dialogue. This is way too goofy its offputting.
