    Do you think programming language is a limitation in getting a job?

      Generally I would say that if you choose one of the 20-30 most popular languages, it should not limit your chances to find a job.
      However there's a lot of nuance to that. For example if you look for a job in a specific city/state/country, it might be easier with some languages than others. Similarly with remote: it's easier to find remote work with Go than with Java.
      Then there's a domain: some languages are more common in banking, some in embedded programming, yet others in machine learning.
      Popularity of the language is a double-edged sword: Python and JavaScript are the most popular languages these days. It means there are a lot of job offers for JS and Python programmers, but also a lot of candidates. If you prefer Clojure or Elixir, you might have fewer options, but also less competition.
      Still, in general I wouldn't choose language purely based on the popularity. Think about what kind of work you want to do, choose the language that's used there, and unless you choose something very niche you should be good.
