This is great! I am learning this piece right now and I feel that watching your channel will teach me a lot. I look forward to seeing more content, whether it is soon, or a while in the future.
Wow, I had no idea you and celloboy are twins. I have been watching you for my violin practice and celloboy for my son's cello practice and never put two and two together, maybe because you are always in profile. What a talented family!
@@bclement85 welcome! by the way, I'm a talent scout at Sessions and love what you're doing. Would love to get you in front of our global audience of music fans. Are you interested? Our team sent you an email for more details. Let me know if you got it.
2/& That you once were a very skilled violinist. Your posture and your hands look very good! Your sound is good too. You might try some different strings-maybe Pi by Tomastik. They are brighter sounding-especially the Platinum E string. It does make a BIG difference in the sound! Also, raise your stand a little higher-the violin is slanting towards the floor and you want it to be more parallel to the floor. That will also make the tone better. Don't forget 3 octave scales and arpeggios. Contemporary Violin Technique by Ivan Galamian and Frederick Neumann is an excellent book. He was my teacher and you cannot believe the scales and arpeggios done in so many different ways it will make your head spin!☺️ Good PRACTICING! And "break a leg" as we say!
Nice work! Your technique is not bad, I can hear in your playing that you were a decent Violinist-& I can say that because I'm a professional violinist.☺️ In our lingo, I can hear that you had at one time and are regaining now the "chops"
at the fast parts try to hold your rhythm steady and keep your bow and fingers on the same beat. for the double stops, make sure you are playing in tune. you can always check each note with a drone. on the last note, the open g, putting more pressure on the bow may be a good idea since it will really finish out the piece (really just a matter of how you interpret the music though). but overall it was very nice!

Why in the description does it say severally out of shape?
"Severely", not "severally". I haven't practiced much in five years, and am very out of shape! But I'm getting back into it, slowly but surely.
What’s the metronome speed for this? Thanks!
Quarter = 104
Ok 👍
