You know, I think specifically, Sir Pentious was cut in half by shrapnel. Like how Alastor has an "x" where he was shot, Sir Pentious doesn't have legs because he lost them.
I don't think there's any doubting how Pentious died.... an invention of his malfunctioned and took him with it. For some reason I cannot help thinking his human first name was Balthazar, just because of how amazing it would sound in his voice.
Sir Pentious died of a freak accident, you can tell because he was an inventor and he could have gotten his legs ripped off. but another theory i have is because he usually portrays himself as a captain/leader, which confuses me
I have my own headcanon for how Nifty died. She’s obsessed with bad boys and keeping things clean, and she is very unstable. I think when she was alive, she was married to an abusive man that would punish her if she didn’t clean up after him. She eventually snapped and killed him in a rage and killed herself afterwards.
Adding onto that theory!! I think that she was shot down by police after killing her husband. The little blood splotches look a lot like gunshots but I do also love that theory.
Maybe he was a boring, nasty, mess to her, she couldn't handle a life that had no excitement and blamed him, she snapped and the cops shot her down? Her dress design has wounds that kind of looked like that could have been what happened?
There is also now a new theory that she was married to a man that abused her. And later got her lobotomized because he wasn't happy she wasn't the perfect housewife but after that she became crazy because her brains were now scrabbles of what it used to be. So she killed him like the bugs she is now trying to kill And after the police got there after people comeplain about the noises, they shot her 3 times in her chest and stomach. And because of that she fell into the fireplace that that was burning
good theory! may I say that probably she was veeeery young when she died, like en her early 20's? nifty's atittude is very childish, some girls still play with dolls. maybe she got married as a teenager!
My Personal theory is that Nifty (along with general 50’s house wife aesthetic) is inspired by “Grease” and “The Heathers”. So her story would probably go something like: Nifty always wanted a husband, kids, and a picket fence. And she thought she found that in a studly bad boy hunk. They were inseparable, but he asked to her to do things for him. Like steal, vandalism… and maybe even murder. One day they just ran off with each other, the start of their new married life, only for it not to be picturesque at all. More and more went wrong, maybe he became abusive, and she even lost a baby. Eventually, she snapped. She killed the husband who was supposed to be perfect, destroyed the shack they lived in, and ended her own life in the grief. In fact, my personal theory is that the reason she looks so young is because she is still grieving the family she never got to have.
@qtscorpkid i don't think so if she would be his mom i think he would say she is his mom and not call her by her name he would probably also say more wonderfull stuff about her because Viv already said he is a big old mama's boy
Alastor’s mom is The seamstress who fixed his suit after pension, ripped it. It makes so much sense, The reason why nifty didn’t fixed it, because he would rather have his mom fix it instead.
Charlie and Veggie should go visit the human world to learn more about how sinners essentially came to be. Is it because of her father or a humans inherently evil
Lucifer just wanted to give humans a higher level of existence by having free will, just without having to do evil, but it didn't go the way he wanted it to. He accidentally introduced evil into the world by giving eve the fruit of knowledge, and he obviously became depressed and lost the will to dream afterwards.
@@Blaine-p1nHere may have been some evil in the show that Lucifer accidentally let on Earth as Pandora opened her box. And like Prometheus, who just wanted to help people, but ended up being punished for what he had done. In turn, Eve, who was possessed by evil, probably became a local variant of Pandora and Eris, the goddess of chaos and strife. The Golden Apple of Discord. Well you know. In fact, it is even possible to imagine that Eve and Lilith ate the fruits in this version, but Adam did not. That evil entered into one (Eve) and good into the other (Lilith), and after birth of Charlie, the power of good passed to her. Adam, on the other hand, remained on the neutral side and does not know what is good and what is evil, and on the other hand He became a narcissistic person who believed and doubted that he was right, also life with Eve the bearer of Evil, could affect his further worldview and even a piece of that very evil could get into him, like a shard from the Mirror hit Kai in the eye in the fairy tale The Snow Queen. And so, when Lucifer and Lilith were expelled, the Angels, not knowing that there was evil in Eve, sent her and Adam to populate the Earth, believing that they had nothing more to do in Paradise, and so later they gave rise to a sinful evil generation, which ended in the Great Flood. And then, of course, up to the present day, to the events of the main plot of the series. And about Abel and Cain. I'm sure they'll come to the Hotel, as soon as they hear about what happened to their father, and break the faces of Charlie and her friends for it.
@@Th3b1rb0bss3ssedg1rl Well, in general, in the 10th episode of Helluva Boss we will see a possible confirmation that they can do it after all. Simply by entering our world, deceased Sinners, and possibly Winners, become ghosts or poltergeists.
@@MarkMark-lx6gl I'm pretty sure only hell born demons have human disguises idk how they get then but I think it has something to do about their DNA or a magical object
Personal I think exorcist like Vaggie were mass produced to help Adam in the exterminations, that’s why they were made but as we can see in Vaggie that’s not set in stone
Personally, I'm not as much impressed with Vaggy's backstory, at least because it kills the essence of it. After all, according to the original idea, she was a Sinner and a former prostitute, who sold her body in order to somehow live, and her last clients-customers in the end, being high and with sadistic tendencies, took and played with her, cutting out her eye and killing her. Thus, when she got to Hell, she hated men, alcohol and was basically disappointed in life, but then she met Charlie And like a moth, she actually became a demon butterfly, as a reference to her work during her life time on Earth, In general, she sees in Charlie the light of hope for a new life and future, you can even say that it was she who prompted and helped Charlie with the organization of the idea of their Hotel for redemption, because she herself, not even believing, but hoping, wanted to redeem herself and leave with Charlie and escape to Paradise away from everyone. In general, we can even say that, again, all this would add much more to the character, and even make him not perfect, but tragic. And so it turns out that Vivienne just threw out more interesting concept, and I just decided to please fans of the Fallen Angel theory. But they could have taken another character for the concept of a renegade angel, in the manner of Fin from Star Wars, and shown it in more detail, and not just he refused to kill and was immediately cut and thrown.
According to Viv he's not actually a Wendigo, but he is Wendigo-inspired. Actual Wendigos from the mythology of various Algonquian-speaking peoples in Canada and the Great Lakes Region were said to be supernaturally tall and gaunt, which does describe Alastor when he goes full-on demon.
I wonder if Niffty might have died in an insane asylum. During the time she supposedly lived it was common for woman who didn't meet the standard of what was considered normal for that time to be sent to the asylums for treatment. There they were subject to what amounted to torture. Niffty could have been a little bit outside the norm of society, she could even have a learning difference or be neurodivergent in some way, was sent to an asylum. What ever treatment she received there killed her and turned her into the little chaos gremlin we all know.
I think there's more to it than that. Personal theory, but one thought I had is Alastor is fond of her, and hates Vox and television. Niffty might have been hurt/traumatized by Vox (even by accident). Alastor partially hates Vox because he broke his toy. But whether that has anything to do with it or not, I'd put money on Niffty freezing up around cameras to serve some later narrative purpose.
This is not my idea: I saw that someone believed Niffty might have been the wife of Vox, an abusive husband who would make her clean while he would watch television. He would punish her every time she did something incorrectly and eventually she got fed up and ended Vox’s life. Realizing what she had done, she ended hers. She is scared of the cameras and television because it reminded her of Vox and his abusiveness. The person I watched also thought that even if Niffty met Vox in Hell, she might not have realized it was him, as he took a form she was not used to.
@@Glassenjoyer. That could be a leading theory, however, how must we explain their behaviour at episode 3, when Alastor becomes their boss for who knows how long.
@@АртемПістунов Pentious sent them off with Alastor. They do whatever he says, and he said to listen to Alastor. And it's not a theory, it was confirmed.
For Husk I see one of two possibilities A: He was in a downward spiral from messed up life events and died of alcoholism (with his presumed age of death he would be vulnerable to heart problems) B: His gambling obsession led to him getting into trouble with debt collectors or a gang he messed with so he was hunted down I did hear somewhere he hated cats in life. So cats had to have somehow played a big role in his death with his entire appearance being a cat
I'm trying to connect the cards and dice theme with him being a cat and having wings and it's... Hard. Maybe, if he was a famous magician, he tried some escaping trick? Advertised himself as "nimble as a cat" or "always falling on his feet", something like that, but then the trick went wrong and he fell from a big height?
My theory is a bit more realistic, but I like yours! My headcanon is that Husk is a Vietnam War veteran who after serving in the army, felt guilty about his brothers in arms getting killed, as well as coping with a hostile welcome home. So he took up being a party magician. Despite this, a great sadness lingered in him. Eventually turning to drinking and eventually died due to blood poisoning. The only thing he had left to his name, was a cat that his next door neighbor got him.
I remember, back when I was watching the pilot, Sir Pentious called Angel Dust his son after Angel called him “Daddy”. I think he might have a son who’s in heaven.
It's crazy how I just noticed this.. But Charlies Earlier Design had a big demonic right hand, similar to the demonic hand/arm Charlie used in the fight against Adam in the show..” I could be wrong tho- lol
one big demon hand, sawed/filed-off horns... hmmmm. i can understand why her design was changed when it became more likely that the series could become popular. there is another rather well-known pop culture half-demon-half-human whose design features those two things rather prominently...
My wife had the idea that since Alastairs' official death was dog related, maybe he was being hunted down by the cops with dogs sniffing him down, (being a serial killer and all) and so the predator became the prey. That's why he has the deer persona. Since it doesn't seem to be one he likes very much. Plus, like his smile, it's disarming until he goes all freaky. No one else in hell seems to be disturbed by their appearance, him being the exception.
I had a theory that Sir pentious was a noble in the French army during the Napoleonic era. Because the way he acts and the outfit he wears during the battle with the exorcists reminds me of a French general. Hell even the paint of him that the crew made to memorialize him kinda looks similar to a famous painting of Napoleon. And the reason he was in hell was because he betrayed his soldiers. (That's also why he's a snake) Maybe he sold them out to the enemy or maybe given how cowardly he is maybe he ran away from a battle leaving his men to die.
@@AbsintheMindedMe Also I double check that is 100% a 18 century French general outfit. The hats of British admirals are smaller and don't have the big fancy feather in it like the french ones.
@@garynumber22 It's not. To be more accurate, it's a purely cartoonish, fantasy version of Lord Horatio Nelson's uniform depicted in his portrait by Lemuel Francis Abbott.
Okay, I need to point something out; at 7:51, you said that Angel died in the 1930s, but as far as we're all aware he died in the 1940s, which you yourself mentioned earlier in the video. at least during the time the pilot came out, Angel Dust was said to have died of a drug overdose in 1947 when he was in his 30s. Husk meanwhile was said to have died in the late 1970s after the end of the Vietnam War, though he himself was not a veteran of that conflict. Alastor died in his 30s in 1933, while Nifty died sometime during the 1950s, and Sir Pentious was in his 40s when he died in 1888.
i've seen people theorizing that nifty was lobotomized which wasn't an uncommon practice around the time she lived and that this is wy she only has one eye, one of the ways of performing this procedure being sticking an ice pick throught someone's eye to their brain
Hopefully season 2 confirms if Vaggie was either previously human, born in heaven, or creatd by sera and the other elder angels after sera approved the exterminations. I'm itching to know!
Personally, I'm not terribly impressed with Vaggy's backstory, at least because it kills the essence of it. After all, according to the original idea, she was a Sinner and a former prostitute, who sold her body in order to somehow live, and her last clients-customers in the end, being high and with sadistic tendencies, took and played with her, cutting out her eye and killing her. @@artisticbeautybyhanako6801 And again, her actress is Latina. After all, the real story that I gave about how exactly she died, this would just justify her and Charlie's lesbian side of the relationship, like, again, she hates men because they did terrible things to her in life and took this very life away from her, that she could not find a normal family, no children, no home, but also went to Hell. The conflict between Charlie and Vaggie could also be that one is the highest and the other is inferior in classification and category of status, like Stolas and Blitz or Asmodeus and Fizz, but only difference is here that they both Immortal and can be together forever, while in last two one is mortal and will die first and his partner are Immortal and yes its much more tragic. And it would also add a contrast to Angel Dust, how the latter, being a seasoned gangster in Hell, stooped to a career as a pornstar, she has turned from a girl with low social responsibility, from a "Night Butterfly" into a lively, strong, responsible and daring person. It's possible that there could even be a liking between them, like Vaggie understands what he wants, that her family also hated her and she ran away and had to do the job she chose, plus maybe her pimp was cruel and rude to her, and as Angel's master is literal Mothman, and one of his close friends demoness-butterfly, this is ironic, and because of this, he overcomes his fears and confronts Val. Also the friendship of a butterfly and a spider, ironic and cute at the same time. And most importantly, it all made Vaggie the Example of this kind of Sinners who deserved a second chance and redemption. That's the concept we've lost, and it's sad.
@@tobsonasanya4765 If that's what Vivienne originally intended, that's fine. But if it's just that she removed such a much more interesting idea and concept just for the sake of the fans, then alas, it sucks.
I think that Niffty is like that cause she had a labotamy and/or shock therapy due to being a "difficult wife" and being sent to an insane asylum, as was unfortunetly commen for women back in the 50s (even for minor stuff like "not wanting sex" or "cleaning to much") her design actually backs this up cause her main weapon is a needle and she only has one eye labotamys used to be done through the eye with surgical needles (since you can reach the brain directly through the eye) and back then they would just keep pushing the needles in and poking around until something happend and I think thats how she died and is the reason why she is so messed up in the head to the point Alester feels the need to comment on it like medical history from pre-2000s is just horror story after horror story and since every charakter seams to comment on a diffrent theme, having Nifftys theme be medical trauma based makes more sense to me then the more commen "housewife with abusive husband" theory I have seen floating around since Angle covers that one already with his abusive relationship with Valentino
@@guardianfish7718 that's a good theory too but it might not have been bullet wounds, could just be blood from when she killed her husband that got on her
i also heard a theory that alastor was mauled by dogs belonging to the hunter who killed him and that the shot in the forehead, where we can see an x was just to end him. not only making his death far for tragic and painful but also explaining why he has stitches all over his body and can make movements that would break regular human's joints (such as turing his head 180 degrees) as well as his hatred for dogs
My opinion on Vaggie is: Since she is assumed to be of Salvadorian decent, it would make sense that she was a Salvadorian Guerrilla fighter during the civil was there that ended around 1992. That would explain her militaristic style of training.
Adam mentioned naming Vaggie, which would imply that he made her and she didn't have a human life, but she doesn't agree with the pronunciation of her name, so it makes it kind of hard to say for sure. Maybe it's more like a cult thing where people take a new name when they join. She could have manifested in heaven, ended up being recruited for the exorcists, and then Adam gave her a new name when she finished training and the line of "I made you" could have been referring to making her who she was through training and indoctrination.
Alastor- he was radio show host in the 1940's and possibly studied fudu magic and been well known cannibal and murderer Angel dust- well to be a in the mob family in 1950's died in a overdose of drugs Husker- a fallen soilder during he's time during world war one Nifty- once a regular house wife but then went insane and gunned down Sir pentious- revolutionary inventor and made military styled weapons then sentenced to be executed
You’re off for 10 years here. Alastor died in the 1930s, 1933 to be precise, so no, he didn‘t see the 40s. Angel on the other hand died sometime in the 1940s, if the old lore is still correct.
I can't be sure but I think Vaggie might have once been human, and Adam whipped her memory to make her a more loyal soldier. My claim for this is that Adam claims to have been her creator giving her, her name. Even if he pronounces it differently then her. But that does mot explain why she speaks bits of Spanish verses straight English like most of the Angels. This might just be a personal choice of her Latina voice actress, but maybe it hints that she was once from Latin America when she was alive.
I have some theories on how some characters died Sir Pentious: Died after trying to take over London with his blimp and got stabbed by the point of the clock tower due to flying to low over it Niffty: Death by firing squad after murdering her whole family whom she deemed as a mess that she needed to rid of. Also, the firing squad were called due to her taking too much time cleaning her electric chair Husk: I feel he either died of alcohol poisoning or perhaps a magic act gone wrong Cherri Bomb: She liked blowing s*it up while she was alive. Enjoying causing chaos all over Australia. Until one day, she got too carried away and a piece of shrapnel from an explosion ended up in her eye that she left untreated and died from an eye infection that spread throughout her body Valentino: Since he’s a pimp in hell, I assume he was a pimp in his previous life. So, either he died of an overdose or got shot and killed by a rival pimp or one of his girls Vox: Since he died in the 1950’s, the great television boom in America. I assume, he might have been a TV executive only caring about revolutionising the future of TV rather than the art that comes from it. Until one day, when a technical malfunction was interfering with a broadcast, he tried to fix it himself. But when the power came back on, he was electrocuted Velvette: I assume she was a self absorbed social media influencer who liked to take pictures of herself to make herself look good. Until one day, she got so obsessed with taking the perfect picture that she failed to look where she was standing and tripped, causing her to fall backwards and to hit the corner of a table, causing her to bleed out due to a terrible head injury
Could Alastor’s mysterious deal with Lilith or who ever predate his death? If so, that would explain why he’s already so powerful when first appearing in hell.
I hope they keep Al’s backstory. I have a strong connection to the comic as an SA survivor, and his stuff is weirdly helpful for me - like having a cannibalistic guardian demon lol. I just appreciate it a lot 😊
I read somewhere that aside from being mistaken for a deer and shot in the head, Alastor's death also involved dogs hence why he hates them (maybe as much as fears them). My guess is that the initial shot did not kill him outright, and the hunter's dogs showed up to finish him off. And on top of Alastor's demon form having a deer theme for that brief moment when he went from being a predator to the prey, I think his skin tone is another manifestation of something he didn't like about himself. My theory is kinda dark, but given the time period he would've been born, what if Alastor's mother was SA'd by a white man and he was the product of that? And by the time he was fully grown, being a radio show host was probably the only way he could get into entertainment because no one would know it was someone of mixed heritage behind the mic. And if Alastor hated that part of himself because of the crime committed onto his mother as well as how they were treated by society at the time, it makes sense that his demonic form is so pale. And as for the cannibalism aspect, I think that was something Alastor got into after he showed up in Hell, and that's mainly after reading the comic "A Day In The Life Of Alastor". Granted, I only read it once, so my memory might not be great.
Judging from Alastor's earlier moral code, I don't think he ate his victims. My opinion is that he became a serial killer trying to rid the world of people who took advantage of others or were cruel, judging by his behavior in the butcher shop. I think he just got into cannibalism after hell.
If I have to guess Nifty was the typical Stepford wife who wanted to please her husband, but said husband was probably such an abusive cheating bastard that one day she just snapped.
Wishful thinking on my part, I know, but I'd like to think that Pen may have inspired or designed various tools for various villains of his time. Like Spring heeled Jack, the deep sea damsel. Or provided the machines for Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein.
Great video as always! I know this might be off topic, but talking about humanity and Sin in the Hellaverse: I've noticed in Helluva Boss that when Martha from 'Murder Family' and Agent 1 of DHORKS ('Truth Seekers') both reference to Satan when talking about Hell and demons instead of Lucifer. Could be possible that Satan had a more direct influence on Earth history instead of Lucifer (considering the Fallen Angel disappointment and disdain for humanity and sinners)? Maybe related to the Imps potentially influencing human conflicts as theorized?
I think they just don't know about Lucifer and that he is the king of hell i mean from what I know about bible (hellaverse has some connections to it) what was lucifer a fallen angel Satan also is a fallen angel Satan pursued Eve to commit the first sin Similiar to lucifer how he pursued lillith (I think) to eat the apple so my theory is that either Satan is non existent in hellaverse and instead he is called lucifer or that Satan is yet to be shown
Which is funny, because he’s LITERALLY the father of all humankind. Let’s not forget, assuming Hazbin Hotel follows the story of the Bible to a T, remember that Nimrod & his men built an enormous tower stretching towards Heaven, which God perceived as a threat. What was once one language transformed into another, and another, and another, creating a whole slew of languages in the known world, many of which were forgotten in the sands of time after God confused the tongues of Nimrod’s confidants. Assuming God exists in the show, and Jesus too, Adam quite literally is the father of all humankind, all nations, all languages, all people. Surely there would’ve been every reason for Vaggie to have been created anyway, because where else would her Spanish roots come from, if not from Earth? In Heaven, once you have a spiritual body & an angelic presence, your gender, language, overall origin mean nothing. But it also begs the question, how did Vaggie keep HERS? Was it after she came to a disagreement with the rest of the exorcists upon realizing what she did was wrong? And what about Lute? Or Adam? This feels kinda convoluted.
Hm, how very interesting, it all could be possible, we’ll have to wait and see. By the way, about Nifty, I have been thinking, what if she became the way she is, not due to her experiences on Earth, but rather due to her experiences in Hell after she died? She could’ve still been flawed enough to be sent to Hell, but perhaps she wasn’t as bad as she is now when she was alive.
Sir Pentious definitely gives me British naval or army commander vibes. Didn't he refer to himself as "Admiral Pentious" in the show? It would definitely explain his obsession with war machines and weaponry, and why he enjoys having subordinate egg bois. It would be cool if he died commanding a ship in a naval battle.
I sincerely doubt he ever commanded anything grander than a talking egg. But it would be in character if he made a career inventing crazy weapons he then tried to sell to the British War Dept. I wouldn't doubt he fantasized being hailed as a military hero and probably died showing off some insane contraption that went very, very wrong.
I don't think Alastor would speak french, he would speak creole. It's sort of a mix of French and African. It's because some Creole people were french, and others migrated from Africa, so their languages kind of blended together over time if I remember correctly, and now they have Creole.
2:05 Based on his actions on devouring other demons, and his design being very similar to the cannibals, it would fit if he was. But it’s also interesting to note he seems very based on wendigo designs and even making the noises when angered. And wendigos are often associated with cannibalism. Probably not a far stretch to say he maybe ate part of his victims before burying them.
Niffty sold her soul to Alastor because she likes a really bad boy and she wanted to belong to one. Even Alastor doesn’t understand her, but he appreciates her unbridled, one-directional enthusiasm. She’s his extremely warped Tinker Bell. Vaggie’s situation is a mystery, probably even to her. She was a Heavenly being who was stripped of her wings and halo. She was abandoned in Hell, but she got a second chance with Charlie. She grew her wings back, which suggests redemption on some level. Still, she would stay with Charlie forever. Does she have a soul? Does Charlie have an angelic soul that could ascend her? So many questions.
You know I just finally noticed that Angel Dust and Valentino's Contract looks similar to the Gold Contact Paper in the Little Mermaid, when Ariel traded her voice to become a human... 3:48
I wouldn't look over Nifty's design so casually. It could very well imply, that her small childlike body either means, that she may have been an actual child-wife, or drilled/manipulated at a young age to never actually grow mentally past a child
I like to point out you can tell Alastor got shot cuz there's an small "x" on his forehead & possibly on the back of his head too showing it went through & through
my personal headcanon for nifty is that she was a housewife and had a lobotomy at some point in time bc it fits with the era and her unstable personality. I think maybe her husband had her get one and she snapped afterwards and did something to end up in hell. like... beatrice horseman's mother. that's basically the backstory I've given her in my noggin.
My niffty theory: Niffty was born in japan but at an young age moved to England. This was an normal thing for people to do at this time. Her family was probably abusive and She became a yandere girl for a boy. One day she breakes into the boys house and starts cleaning and cooking. The boys call the police ( Understandable ) And the police shots her 3 times. ( The 3 red pobably blood spots on her dress) When she comes to hell the first thing she hears is Alastors radio show and thinks: BAD BOY! she asks everyone on the street who that is and where he is. Someone says something like: Thats alastor but you shouldnt go to him he is very dangerous. But Niffty runs away To find him. When Niffty finds Alastor in the middle of his job comes Niffty in the room. Alastor tries to take her out gently but after she ignores his request does Alastor make an ad pause. Niffty and Alastor talks and Alastor starts to like her ( NOT ROMANTICALY ) Alastor comes up with the soul deal and Niffty happliy says yes. Alastor takes Niffty to The hotel and the show starts.
Niffty being immune to fire and coming out of the fireplace, could be connected to her death. My theory for her is that after murdering her abusive husband she tried to frantically cleaned up the crime scene but ended up burning down the house instead with herself still inside.
My current theory for Vaggie and the other exterminators is actually that they’re Adam’s children with Lilith. One thing you can’t help but notice about the exterminators is they’re all female, and one of the traits of Lilith as a demon is she only gives birth to female offspring. This would make the exterminators similar to the daughters of Aku from Samurai Jack in that all of them are the daughters of the main antagonist who have been raised to fight against the protagonist only for one of them to develop a change of heart and feelings for the protagonist. Nifty is wearing a poodle skirt, something that was popular amongst young unmarried women in the 50s. I don’t think she was married but rather was someone who dreamed of finding her special guy only to end up betrayed, SA’d and murdered by him. My impression is her friendship with Alastor is based on him having a lot of the traits she wants in a guy, he’s kind, considerate and protective towards her, while at the same time having no sexual interest in her making him safe.
I would go with descendants. It would be good if future seasons would explain the origins of exorcists. Though seeing as Vaggie is dating Charlie I don’t think exorcists would be related to Lilith.
Ughhh wish they would of made Charlie look like she was before the tv show, she looks so much more like the princess of Hell but I suppose the blonde look does make her look more like innocent/ not a sinner
I'm also super curious about the names these characters could have had as humans, esp the Vees. I feel like Valentino is probably the only one out of the Vees who was already using that name as a human. Maybe he was born with it or changed it as an adult when he started working in the sex industry? Vox and Velvette probably had different names as humans. Jack? Olivia? I'd like to think that Velvette was prob a lower-to-mid-tier worker in the fashion industry who abused those below her, despite not being that powerful/privileged herself. Her puppet form could be a cruel reminder of her status as a human, still being controlled by those above her even if she would have loved to be the one on top. Similar with Vox. He could have been an anchorman at a regional tv station (maybe one for a specific US State, or even smaller, city/district) which would have resulted in him having a lot of power on a regional basis but not really outside of his district or state. He def had a wife and kids because it was the 50s. And perhaps his sinful behaviour mostly stemmed from abusing his workers and from coercing various people in professional settings into sexual acts (#MeToo), blackmailing them, etc. Not sure if he committed murder - maybe as a one-time thing to get rid of a rising, much younger and more charming fellow anchorman at his station. He was surely quite obsessed with his looks and the tv head must have been a horrible embarrassment for him when he first manifested in hell. That being said, these are just my headcanons!
I’ve seen a few social posts by fans floating around with their own headcanons for method of death and real name, like Victor for Vox, Cheryl for Cherri Bomb, Silas for Sir Pentious, Nancy for Niffty, Hank for Husk. I like the idea that some demons have traces or rhymes of their old names in their new ones.
i think nifty was actually a stalker, she seems incredibly obsessive and gets easily attached to men she likes. perhaps she really REALLY wanted a man to marry hense why she looks like a typical housewife in hell. i think what happened to her is that she found out a guy she was stalking was already spoken for so she tried (if not succeeded) to kill his significant other so he would be hers. and the guy shot her to save his significant other.
I always assumed Vaggie must have been a human cuz she speaks Spanish, I didn’t really see the logic in her being a native to heaven who just happens to know a human language, Carmilla also speaks Spanish too and she was human as well
Although this probably has little relevance, Nifty wears a poodle skirt, which were more commonly associated with teenagers and younger women at the time. If you go on this, Nifty is probably one of the “youngest” sinners in the main cast. Making her at most in her late twenties when she died.
My theory is that nifty was in an abusive relationship with her husband forced into submission by her husband, taking notes from when she died. Women's rights didn't exist, eventually being forced to have children. This might have made her spiral into a rage. I also think she could've been shot by her husband maybe even being found after the murder of her unwanted children explaining the "gunshot" wounds on her dress mostly why I think she took a more child like appearance in hell something she hated I also think this started her obsession with unhealthy/bad boys. I don't think this is the case because it would be a pretty dark backstory
Husk's character theme resembles him being a gambling addict and alcoholic when he was alive... I imagine he probably died in the 80's or 90's from alcohol poisoning, gambling debt being "collected", or suicide due or one or both reasons... When he went to hell he gambled his way to Overlord status, but like most gamblers his luck likely ran dry, when he crossed paths with Alistor and made a deal.
Question: In episode 6, Velvette spoke of bring the war to the angels but, since Zestial was against it because of their lack of knowledge about how the angel died, what's stopping demons like Zestial and Velvetter from going to war now that pretty much all of hell now knows how the angels can be killed and why is no one talking about it?
I believe nifty That's perfectly and the Yandere trope a term used in Japanese anime to say a person who is insanely obsessive to the point that the people around their object of affection might not survive and the object of their affection can survive but not easily or very well! The song smoke and mirrors is a good example of a Yandere form of thinking warning song is sick and twisted view at your own risk!
I came up with an OC for a Hazbin Hotel fanfic I’m writing. He’s a character who died during the advent of AR and VR video game technology on earth. In this story, my OC aims to become an overlord of the video game industry in Hell, but is struggling to do so. It’s been fun so far but coming up with a full background for this character isn’t easy.
Just a thought and a little observation, I believe that someone had killed nifty because on her outfit there is 3 spots on her outfit that look like gunshot wounds, suggesting that someone killed her by shooting her multiple times.
It would be a great sort of introduction to their lives before by using Sera’s looking glass that they used to watch Angel in Hell in like a “review” process in season 2
Another reason for the cannibal serial killer theory, Alastor has sharp teeth just like every other person in cannibal town, which is also most likely why he know Rosie so well.
So I have a theory about Emily and Charlie being half sisters. Their shared parent as Lucifer. Emily's mom I believe to be Sara, and of course Charlie's as Lilith. If you look they do look alike as well as almost the same height and body type. Also their voices are similar. It could also be why Emily has been given the easy job of making everyone happy in haven. It also might explain that when Emily is truly happy she makes a noise close to a rubber ducky.
The creator says Alastor was shot because he was mistaken for a deer, but the fandom/character site says his cause of death was a ‘dog related incident’
Niffty is one of those characters I think something really, really dark happened with. I always think back to when Husk says "you don't wanna know what her problem is" . I got an odd feeling when her story comes to light, I'm gonna feel sorry for her more thab i already do.
In 9:20 when you say that her original design was supposed to be born somewhere in the 1800s, I just noticed…. Current Charlie is supposed to be around 200+ years old. She could’ve very well been born in the 1800s, in the end!
Wait, did Vivziepop actually know about the "Vaggie is an Angel" theory? Or was it a plot point/twist she's been preparing since the start of the show?
I remember hearing a theory that Vox had epilepsy and died of a seizure, which ties into him glitching out of anger and blacking out Pentagram City.
That actually makes sense
That would be pretty cool if true.
What if a tv fell on his head and thats why he’s a tv
A tv fell on his head
That's actually a good theory
You know, I think specifically, Sir Pentious was cut in half by shrapnel. Like how Alastor has an "x" where he was shot, Sir Pentious doesn't have legs because he lost them.
I don't think there's any doubting how Pentious died.... an invention of his malfunctioned and took him with it.
For some reason I cannot help thinking his human first name was Balthazar, just because of how amazing it would sound in his voice.
@@tenacious3911 .......... Yes
@@tenacious3911he should DEFINITIVLY BE THE BALTAZAR FROM THE OG CARTOON
Sir Pentious died of a freak accident, you can tell because he was an inventor and he could have gotten his legs ripped off. but another theory i have is because he usually portrays himself as a captain/leader, which confuses me
Where does Alastor have an X?
So she killed him like the bugs she is now trying to kill
And after the police got there after people comeplain about the noises, they shot her 3 times in her chest and stomach. And because of that she fell into the fireplace that that was burning
good theory! may I say that probably she was veeeery young when she died, like en her early 20's? nifty's atittude is very childish, some girls still play with dolls. maybe she got married as a teenager!
Well that went dark quickly 😳
My Personal theory is that Nifty (along with general 50’s house wife aesthetic) is inspired by “Grease” and “The Heathers”.
So her story would probably go something like:
Nifty always wanted a husband, kids, and a picket fence.
I always assumed Alastor’s mother was in heaven
Yeah, I thought so too
I don't know I could totally see alistair's Mom literally being Rosy

@qtscorpkid i don't think so if she would be his mom i think he would say she is his mom and not call her by her name he would probably also say more wonderfull stuff about her because Viv already said he is a big old mama's boy
Nifty being a psycho hyperactive obsessed housewife who died because of Police shooting her because she went off the rails is my theory.
Alastor’s mom is The seamstress who fixed his suit after pension, ripped it. It makes so much sense, The reason why nifty didn’t fixed it, because he would rather have his mom fix it instead.
Amazing theory
Well sinners can't travel rings or to the human world they also don't have human disguise
Part of me wonders if Vaggie was always intended to be an angel and Viv just made up a backstory to hide the twist.
Personal I think exorcist like Vaggie were mass produced to help Adam in the exterminations, that’s why they were made but as we can see in Vaggie that’s not set in stone
Maybe
I'm pretty sure vivzie Said after the pilot she's a sinner that died in 2014,but then she made her an angel
@@MarkMark-lx6gl the backstory you just said was never cannon, it was just speculation
Al likely also has the deer theme for the modern depictions of the Wendigo, the curse of cannibalism in it's depiction.
No wrong
I wonder if Niffty might have died in an insane asylum. During the time she supposedly lived it was common for woman who didn't meet the standard of what was considered normal for that time to be sent to the asylums for treatment. There they were subject to what amounted to torture. Niffty could have been a little bit outside the norm of society, she could even have a learning difference or be neurodivergent in some way, was sent to an asylum. What ever treatment she received there killed her and turned her into the little chaos gremlin we all know.
I think Niffty hasn't learned the evolution of the camera and that's why she just stares when Vaggie tries to record her for the commercial
Or it might be because of the commercials of women in the 50s that she freezes up when seeing a camera or making a commercial related to "cleaning"
I have a theory on the egg boys: either they're stupid natives of hell or just easy-to-controll souls.

For Husk I see one of two possibilities
A: He was in a downward spiral from messed up life events and died of alcoholism (with his presumed age of death he would be vulnerable to heart problems)
B: His gambling obsession led to him getting into trouble with debt collectors or a gang he messed with so he was hunted down
I did hear somewhere he hated cats in life. So cats had to have somehow played a big role in his death with his entire appearance being a cat
Maybe he tripped over a cat and fell to his death. Which could also explain the wings.
@@cinderheart8545 thats the best theory i’ve heard for husk’s death
That's a good one!
I remember, back when I was watching the pilot, Sir Pentious called Angel Dust his son after Angel called him “Daddy”. I think he might have a son who’s in heaven.
And possibly his wife then too.
Oh my god that’s so sweet…
I guess we'll find that out in season 2
He has an English accent and he's dressed like a nineteenth century British admiral. Nothing French about him.
@@AbsintheMindedMe His accent sounds more french then British to me.

Yeah it kinda makes it confusing on how she's a spanish speaking latina if she never had a human life to absorb that culture🤨
Bruh that origin story was never canon lol. Also she does want to redeem herself@MarkMark-lx6gl
@@tobsonasanya4765 If that's what Vivienne originally intended, that's fine. But if it's just that she removed such a much more interesting idea and concept just for the sake of the fans, then alas, it sucks.
I think that Niffty is like that cause she had a labotamy and/or shock therapy due to being a "difficult wife" and being sent to an insane asylum, as was unfortunetly commen for women back in the 50s (even for minor stuff like "not wanting sex" or "cleaning to much")
her design actually backs this up cause her main weapon is a needle and she only has one eye
labotamys used to be done through the eye with surgical needles (since you can reach the brain directly through the eye) and back then they would just keep pushing the needles in and poking around until something happend and I think thats how she died and is the reason why she is so messed up in the head to the point Alester feels the need to comment on it
like medical history from pre-2000s is just horror story after horror story and since every charakter seams to comment on a diffrent theme, having Nifftys theme be medical trauma based makes more sense to me then the more commen "housewife with abusive husband" theory I have seen floating around since Angle covers that one already with his abusive relationship with Valentino
My theory is that nifty died via lobotomy. She has one eye, and obsession with needles, and just how she is in general.

Those Hazbin anime thumbnail are terrifying
I’m actually so excited about finding out about each characters (earthborn) backstory on earth. How they look like when alive, and how they were.
My opinion on Vaggie is: Since she is assumed to be of Salvadorian decent, it would make sense that she was a Salvadorian Guerrilla fighter during the civil was there that ended around 1992. That would explain her militaristic style of training.
Angels old humanoid design was so cute
Adam mentioned naming Vaggie, which would imply that he made her and she didn't have a human life, but she doesn't agree with the pronunciation of her name, so it makes it kind of hard to say for sure. Maybe it's more like a cult thing where people take a new name when they join. She could have manifested in heaven, ended up being recruited for the exorcists, and then Adam gave her a new name when she finished training and the line of "I made you" could have been referring to making her who she was through training and indoctrination.
I mean, a lot of the characters in Hell took new names when they arrived there, so it really isn't hard to believe it happens in Heaven too.
I would love to see a theory video on the Angelic weapons! Like where did they come from, what are they made of, why were they made, etc. 😊💜
Alastor- he was radio show host in the 1940's and possibly studied fudu magic and been well known cannibal and murderer
Angel dust- well to be a in the mob family in 1950's died in a overdose of drugs
Husker- a fallen soilder during he's time during world war one
Nifty- once a regular house wife but then went insane and gunned down

You’re off for 10 years here. Alastor died in the 1930s, 1933 to be precise, so no, he didn‘t see the 40s. Angel on the other hand died sometime in the 1940s, if the old lore is still correct.

Oh right thanks
Husk was not a soldier
I love the backstories (both Canon and Earlier) for these characters!
I have some theories on how some characters died
Sir Pentious: Died after trying to take over London with his blimp and got stabbed by the point of the clock tower due to flying to low over it
Niffty: Death by firing squad after murdering her whole family whom she deemed as a mess that she needed to rid of. Also, the firing squad were called due to her taking too much time cleaning her electric chair
Husk: I feel he either died of alcohol poisoning or perhaps a magic act gone wrong
Cherri Bomb: She liked blowing s*it up while she was alive. Enjoying causing chaos all over Australia. Until one day, she got too carried away and a piece of shrapnel from an explosion ended up in her eye that she left untreated and died from an eye infection that spread throughout her body
Valentino: Since he’s a pimp in hell, I assume he was a pimp in his previous life. So, either he died of an overdose or got shot and killed by a rival pimp or one of his girls
Vox: Since he died in the 1950’s, the great television boom in America. I assume, he might have been a TV executive only caring about revolutionising the future of TV rather than the art that comes from it. Until one day, when a technical malfunction was interfering with a broadcast, he tried to fix it himself. But when the power came back on, he was electrocuted
Velvette: I assume she was a self absorbed social media influencer who liked to take pictures of herself to make herself look good. Until one day, she got so obsessed with taking the perfect picture that she failed to look where she was standing and tripped, causing her to fall backwards and to hit the corner of a table, causing her to bleed out due to a terrible head injury
great video as always!

Your theory is amazing ! 😮❤
Judging from Alastor's earlier moral code, I don't think he ate his victims. My opinion is that he became a serial killer trying to rid the world of people who took advantage of others or were cruel, judging by his behavior in the butcher shop. I think he just got into cannibalism after hell.
Sir Pentious was in Zoophobia by the name of Xanthos, a gangster along side with Angel's father Henroin why do people keep missing that
I think Vaggie had a human life because how would she know spanish?
You mean Spanish ?
@@Angelmayday yea i did an oopsie didnt i😅 thanks for correcting me
If I have to guess Nifty was the typical Stepford wife who wanted to please her husband, but said husband was probably such an abusive cheating bastard that one day she just snapped.
4:53 Man, Now I Want Adina As Another Character In Hazbin Hotel, Even Though It Already Has Sera.
I have a headcanon that Vox idolized Alastor while alive, and a child. And Alastor inspired Vox to take up broadcasting.
Wishful thinking on my part, I know, but I'd like to think that Pen may have inspired or designed various tools for various villains of his time. Like Spring heeled Jack, the deep sea damsel. Or provided the machines for Dr. Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein.
This is what I'm most excited to explore in the show!
I think they just don't know about Lucifer and that he is the king of hell i mean from what I know about bible (hellaverse has some connections to it) what was lucifer a fallen angel Satan also is a fallen angel Satan pursued Eve to commit the first sin Similiar to lucifer how he pursued lillith (I think) to eat the apple so my theory is that either Satan is non existent in hellaverse and instead he is called lucifer or that Satan is yet to be shown
I sincerely doubt Adam would have bothered to create a bilingual person. Just saying.
@@AbsintheMindedMe He could've been a low level officer. But I like your idea too.
Need to head to work...ooww new vid...guess I be a tad late

@@dropje223 funny story ngl
I love IMP CUT SO MUCH❤💖💞
I know that Husker dust (Husker and Angel dust) will be added
You know I just finally noticed that Angel Dust and Valentino's Contract looks similar to the Gold Contact Paper in the Little Mermaid, when Ariel traded her voice to become a human... 3:48
I wouldn't look over Nifty's design so casually. It could very well imply, that her small childlike body either means, that she may have been an actual child-wife, or drilled/manipulated at a young age to never actually grow mentally past a child
I thought it was confirmed Alastor wasn't a cannibal on earth, but gained that trait in Hell?
Same, I tought the only reason Cannibal Town felt like home for him was due to be stuck on the 1920's.
I like to point out you can tell Alastor got shot cuz there's an small "x" on his forehead & possibly on the back of his head too showing it went through & through
My theory is that Husk is Sans, and Sans is Ness, which would make him MatPat, and given he’s also Sans, that would make Matthew Patrick
I could be wrong on this, but I think we can expect to see more of these callbacks to their past lives in season 2.
This was the first video i watched of your channel, (yes, im a newbie) and I STRAIGHT UP STAB STAB STABBED the subscribe and like buttons
I had a theory that vaggie was a soldier and died in combat, saving lives. That's how she got to be an executor in heavenpp
my personal headcanon for nifty is that she was a housewife and had a lobotomy at some point in time bc it fits with the era and her unstable personality.
But Niffty runs away
To find him.
WOW I'M THINKING GOING TO PUT ANGEL DUST FAMILY ON MY MANGA STORIES.
We dont speak about that tier list ever again.
Alastor is French AFRICAN!?
No wonder he is the absolute most fabulous.
Nope he was American I think I mean he died in Illinois (I think)
5:18 THE PLUSHY 💀💀💀💀
@@rebeccatomlin3121 Those are some cool choices!!
6:40 how did he learn to do that?
i think nifty was actually a stalker, she seems incredibly obsessive and gets easily attached to men she likes. perhaps she really REALLY wanted a man to marry hense why she looks like a typical housewife in hell. i think what happened to her is that she found out a guy she was stalking was already spoken for so she tried (if not succeeded) to kill his significant other so he would be hers. and the guy shot her to save his significant other.
Niffty is wearing a poodle skirt---a popular teenage style. I assume she stalked boys she was into and died in an accident related to stalking.
Regarding Sir Pentious, after the final episode I headcanon he could be a military commander or at least had military education.
I’m from El Salvador and I just found out bc of this video that Vaggie is from my country too. Nice👌🏽
Don't most of the characters havw sharp teeth? Like Angel and Husker? Even Charlie has cat like fangs
Don't they all have sharp teeth?
I thought Husk died in the 1830's, during the invention of poker. It would make him a part of the 'Old Guard' of Overlords that Alastor removed.
No
been waitng for this video a long time tho
My theory for what could have killed Angel “Anthony” Dust was either crack or coccaine.
She probably decided that at the last minute. I like the plot twist but, I low key loved that Vaggie was Salvadoran but, at this point who knows.
