What an AMAZING convention thanks for sharing, those Count Duckulas carded OMG ❤
I was thinking of you buddy when I saw those duckula’s 😁
Toyplosion, here I come!!! No Doubt, Toyplosion was one of the Coolest and Ginormous Place Ever from Germany. They had a whole Plethora of Vintage Toys and many many more! Truly Epic and Mind-boggling! It's Every Collectors Dreams, on your Channel! Excellent Video as always, Ed! 😎😎😎👍👍
Couldn't agree more!
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Totally Excellent, Buddy! 🤜💥🤛
Ed’s Retro Geek Out aka The Shifty Belgian Way. 😂😂😂 Toyplosian looks amazing. So many toys and cool toy ppl. Huge fan of the Leicester Vintage Toy Shop guys. Highly recommend their channel to anyone. Thanks again Ed and Matty.
Thanks for watching buddy 🤘
@@HoonAgain thanks very much!
Up to now you're video is definitely the coolest of all the Toyplosion II Videos I have been watching, because you focused so much on the toys which caught your and Matti's eye. That's what I love to see! As many of the toys the dealers offered over there as possible. Also love your video style and your funny interaction with Matti.
Always so cool to watch one of your videos, you know so many toy RUclipsrs that I like a lot.
So thank all of you very very much for these wonderful Toyplosion II impressions and showing us all your fantastic finds and the gifts you received 🤗🤘🥳.
Thanks so much buddy 🙏
My girlfriend showed me that Hasselhoff mirror and I was so tempted to buy it. This is the level of rediculousness I love. The kind of conversation starter everyone should have in their home.
Damn, do I want it now!!!
It was a great Toyplosion and I also had some Deals with Marco (retrokrempel). Im very lucky about the Charon and two Dune figures from LJN. Great Video man
Epic that Charon was calling me but do I reallt want to army build them 😅
Great looking show and goodies thank you for the walk around great videos
Thanks for watching
Thanks for all the awesome videos you make, Ed❗️
So nice of you to watch them 😁
Hi Ed it was realy nice to meet you at Toyplosion . You asked about other Stores in Germany for the Attic Invaders Europe Tour. You could visit the Kuschel Muschel in Hanau near Frankfurt but ist only open on Friday and Saturday .
Is this the same as kuschel muschel reloaded? 🤔
That Shredder you picked up is fricking amazing 👍😎🔥
Thanks buddy 🤘
It was an great Event and you got a lot of cool stuff. Congrat to it. Great that you were there.
Thank you 🤓
Mel Birnkrant is the amazing designer who did the animax-figures: Look him up! He also designed Oodles! He's great!
Ill look up Oodles 😎
For serious collectors like you guys I understand you don't like re-releases. But I'm not a collector I've been watching your channel for 3 years now but all these re-releases and your channel makes it more interesting to pick up some models. I'm not going to pay 300 euro for a toy in a box but 25 euro to display it on a shelf thats way more reasonable.
Thanks buddy
Never fails ED ...the EURO vintage stuff kills it ...BETTER THAN ANY USA OR CANADIAN Toy Shows... I watch many videos by you tubers and the EURO shows are always the best .. the biggest draw back ...PRICES ARE VERY HIGH ...
Thanks buddy 😁
simply a great event with a hall full of like-minded collectors 😎🤘🏻
Aw yeaaag 😁
I'm soooo happy YOU got the awesome small My Pet Monster 🤘😈 He first wanted to sell it to me but I knew there would be someone even more happy with it than me 😉 It also has a cameo in my video 😂
And wow~ you saw so much more stuff that I did not even notice🤯 Great video 💯
Same with your video so much things I didn’t notice while there. So glad with the my pet monster 🙏
Awesome convention...loads of good stuff. Seems like every convention you go to over there has a Filmation Ghostbusters Ghost Command. Never see those here!
There’s been more popping up lately 😏
👀looked awesome! Again thanks Ed🤘🏼
Thanks for watching!
😮 No really bro….😮. Absolutely crazy knock off haul and then your score at the end was insane man. The mix and match of those Turly Gang is hilarious. 😂 Thanks Guys. Can’t wait for European Attic Invasion.
We can’t wait for it either europa! Here we come 😋
That. Looks. Mental.
Dibs on Police Academy!
Indeed 🤣
Great to see you again on Toyplosion this time
by the way, it was me under the Green Power Ranger Cosplay 😅
Nice to see, you put your Cameraeye on my Stand, Thanks bro.
Next time i will have a Ninja Turtle Balloon for You 😉
Best greetz
Footsoldier
Epic that was you 😁🤘 those balloons were epic nice turtle booth as well 😋🤘
@@EdsRetroGeekOut Thank you 🥰❤
Great video Ed, looking forward to seeing you at Sandown. I myself have become a bit obsessed with MOTU KO's
Awesome 🤘 see ya there
love these toy show videos, so many cool things to see
Thanks so much for watching
At Toyplosion I really noticed the amount of reissues and I almost got a few myself, thinking they were the real deal .
There was also a lot of carded tmnt that was legit tough 😁
A great show. Lots of familiar legends too. 👍😉 enjoyed the hunt😎 grtz
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video Ed, we’ve just arrived back from Europe and toy shop on tour series 3 wraps tomorrow! Last day!
Can’t wait to see your videos 😁🤘
The cool part about the old school wrestlers is you don’t always have to hunt accessories! They usually didn’t come with any and weren’t wearing clothing
😏 I need to get more knowledgeable on them 😁
Dang that show was loaded 😍
Indeediooo
Looking forward to videos on those toy catalogs...
I already started flipping through em and uncovered some nice unproduced toy pictures 😉
@@EdsRetroGeekOut awesome bro
I'm happy about the re releases. Apparently Scratch the Cat is coming next year.
No way! 😁 that’s gonna burst the bubble on scratch
Impressive show and cool video bro😊
Thanks 😁
Nothing like drinking soy sauce straight from the bottle on a hot sunny day, true nostalgia
🤣 he almost did!
They do reduce the value of originals but they are affordable options for building displays, and they can be opened without guilt! personally i have a good mix of original and reissue TMNT, just got an original Mona Lisa 😊.
Good point!
Thanks for the video 😊
Thanks for watching
Dammit, I gotta make the trip next year. I can't believe I stayed in my home town and went to our crappy little local Comic Con instead. The only retro action figures there were played with, without any accessories (the one Kenner TAS Batman didn't even have a cape) and still horribly overpriced. I'm not paying 30 Euros for a Gargoyles Broadway figure without wings or tail.
38:04 I got that same bootleg Godzilla at a flea market some years ago, it actually was the first toy I got when I decided to start collecting again. It's also the blue one, and I can't help thinking it looks like the Cookie Monster.
He does have cookie monster vibes 🤭
Speaking of animax someone on youtube just posted 80s toy commercials of animax including the rare playset commercial!
Ooh epic I gotta check that out
Personally, I like the reissues. They're a cheap option and look great on display. I understand the reisitance, but honeysly they're fairly easy to identify vs the retro figures. Believe it or not, Playmates has been re-creating the original artwork, not reproducing.
They pretty much have to start from scratch indeed 🤓
I'm from chorlton in Manchester, which is where count duckula, and other animations like dangermouse were made by Cosgrove hall. I'd really love some duckula figures but they be Pricey 😅
40 a piece on card seemed good, ive seen people buying em for way more loose 😅😅
@@EdsRetroGeekOut oh goodness. Yes they can go for more loose! It obv depends on condition. Duckula is more common than nanny and Igor. I'd have been very tempted to buy all of them for that price 😁 are you going to Birmingham NEC in September, would be good to say hello!
Sad to see what has happened to charity shops in Chorlton and MCR in general.
You live round here? @@rewghob Charity shops are ruined in MCR, I still find gold but takes a keen eye
Hulk has a lot of hair 😂
Indeed 🤣
The reissues are a problem I believe in the collector world. I myself don't want anything to do with them.. but if people like them , then more power to them. I just feel like these companies should be coming up with new molds of vintage style/inspired toys instead of just doing a money grab.
I agree with your statement and would love to see them get creative with new and better molds that will interest old and new collectors
The donnie that came with the reissue toilet taxi is a step in the right direction 🤓
I love Mighty Maxx to as used to buy a few of the toys in the late 90s but 50 Germany dollars for the diary is insane😅😅😅
It’s a rare uncommon piece 🤭
Yeah, I’m with Matti, re-issues suck
😎 they just have to make new molds but in the old specification ways get varner & anaglyph to sculpt more
Wow a moc Rimfire astrobros 😲
He was resealed and missing 1 accesory but yhat artwork 😅 I feel like I should have picked it up
@@EdsRetroGeekOut kind of rare 🤘
Repros are cool they just shouldn't cost more than originals I found a repro ray filet for 60 when I can buy a vintage one for like 7 bucks😮
And tell mattie to look at the print on the back or the feet it'll tell u what year it was made so u can tell the difference 😂😂
🤣 ain’t nobody got time for that
Geiler Typ🤟
Thanks for the deal buddy! Was great seeing you again 🤘
@@EdsRetroGeekOut thx for visit my little store🤣🤟we See us at 19.10 in Belgium🤩
Killer pieces 🤩, was this where you bought the bad egg for a deal?
Yeah eventually bought it from scott from cranck’s toys ;) i had been eyeing them for a while so got the best looking one when the show was almost done. We only filmed the first 2-3 hours of the show honestly. There’s more finds then I show in the video 🤓
@@EdsRetroGeekOut I noticed the bad egg on the table towards the end of the vid 😏
@@ThisDadFlips Scott had a few. He’s a great guy to deal with
You like bootleg action figures how I like bootleg video games 😂😂
Aw yeaaah
🎉❤
Thanks
Can anyone also tell me where i can get box protrctors for the TMNT vehicles and playsets?
I would like to know too
@@EdsRetroGeekOut if you find out, feel free to share the info!
I’m in favour of reissues I don’t want to spend stupid amounts of money to have toys on card
That’s one way to look at it 😁
Used boots? Or used boothes?.
Yes 😏
@32:00 should have gotten the entire toothbrush set man xD. funny enough my set is also the italian one. where all the turtles names end with o.
I know 🤣🤣
Hellyeah, what a beast of a video. Thx for sharing your impressions. Was there, going the distance of 2 days, too.
And man! What can I say?! Much stuff is going on here in your vid, I haven't seen on location 😮😂
Hope to see ya next time for a small talk.
Cheers,
Sascha 🦝
Thanks buddy and yeah when you see us about don’t hesitate to say hi 🤘
6:52 Alpha 7 is his name
Aw yeaaah
Do you ever come across old tech decks? The ones from the 90s?
Sometimes 😁
@@EdsRetroGeekOut how's the price on them usually? I never see anyone talk about them ..
