@STORMFRONT•1870 my buddy was part of the crew who went down to Missouri to help with the powerline. He told me it looked like a nuclear bomb went off there. That's how he described it.
There has been way heavier damage from previous tornadoes through history but this is still incredibly awful damage. I'm guessing this could be rated EF-4
@STORMFRONT•1870 Worst I have seen was Jarrell. This was EF4 level damage. Jarrell was a strong EF5. At Jarrell, there was no debris... only slabs. Pavement was completely removed from the road and 18 inches of topsoil were sucked up. The tornado didn't blow things down. It cleanly removed a neighborhood from the face of the Earth. Every person and animal in the path of that tornado died.

*******In my opinion Weatherman RYAN HALL YA'll on You Tube has the BEST COVERAGE & WARNINGS, many times calling out a tornado on the ground before NOAA Weather, his viewers Donated about $500,000 in 1 month for Ryan Team to disperse to those in need after disasters like this. What has NOAA or Local News Stations Donated?*******
I’m seeing even more complete destruction here than there was in Mayfield. And a lot of deep ground scouring. I don’t see how anyone could’ve even survived above ground inside something like this.
I cannot believe it, the most historic weather event since 4/27/11 occurred in December with there being no Ef3+ in the month of may the same year, this is truly unprecedented.
I believe it's gonna actually be a national record unfortunately by the time they're done looking at the damage. Way worse than that one sad to say. This line of storms went for 500 miles but they're saying if this 1 tornado has been proven to stay on the ground that it would have traveled 227miles at first but now they're saying possibly 250miles. That would pass any tornado for the total US😪. Just mind blowing and if it's an EF5 there has only been 2 ever in history in December. And depending on the death toll as well that could make it even worse at least for our state. It's insane.
My mom was picked up in a tornado during these storms. Picked up her car and threw it in a ditch. She made it out without a scratch. But the metal telephone poles were bent over touching the ground.
I just don't know what to say, I was watching "Weatherman Ryan Hall Ya'll YT" to make sure I stayed aware of Rowan County Ky. threats while knowing what was happening in a fellow town of Ky. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ky. So many lives lost and total destruction beyond belief. I’m in shock just watching the videos of the devastation all over!!! 😱😭💔🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Do these houses have basements?
Most did not have basements or storm shelters. They to to inner most room without windows and huddle together or bathtub while pulling mattress over themselves.
Ryan Hall called this last night- he was so worried. How did people survive? It is so sad
Prayers Sent
A 6:02, left side. A house was completely shifted off the foundation, exposing the basement below. My worst nightmare.
May almighty Allah protect us all from such devastation... Ameen
I'm in Madisonville. Does anyone know what downtown Dawson looks like? Still haven't seen anything.
The downtown area was not hit nearly as bad. It was mostly the north and east parts of town.
i've heard people describing a tornado as like a bomb blast. This looks like a nuclear bomb went off
Literally matchsticks. Terrifying.
December actually the second most dangerous month for tornadoes in this part of the country.
But Not for EF 5s if they prove that is the case after the assessments. Only 2 ever in history per the weather person I listened to.
@ 2:44;; so reminiscent of a tornado. That cloud shape...
My mom was picked up in a tornado during these storms. Picked up her car and threw it in a ditch. She made it out without a scratch. But the metal telephone poles were bent over touching the ground.
Way GOD Why?
So 😥 sad. May God be with them.🙏💞
I don’t even know what to say 😢 my heart is breaking for these communities. 😭
A living shredder!
Where is this located
Dawson Springs Kentucky. Not sure the neighborhood.
@@aprilfrohardt858 It's right by the Pennyrile Forest State Park & Lodge...southwest of Madisonville, KY off of Hwy 41.
So so terrible, I am crying or humanity, this is horrific!
Just heart breaking
one house intact amongst all that rubble. 5:14. Must have been built to Florida wind code.
I just don't know what to say, I was watching "Weatherman Ryan Hall Ya'll YT" to make sure I stayed aware of Rowan County Ky. threats while knowing what was happening in a fellow town of Ky. My heart hurts for those who have lost everything, in all things your life is the most important to save, that is where you begin rebuilding & healing. Lord Bless these souls with the aid they so deserve, Amen.
There is some intense ground scouring here.
