Thank you so much, finally got it! Good mix of being easy enough to easily aply but detailed enough to get more into the theory behind it!

serious note for anyone look at this there is a major error in how R1,1 R2,1 R3,1 are handled:
he has h = (b-a)/n up top... in reality for how the rest of the problem treats h, h is actually = b-a
you will also notice an error where h/2[f()...] and h/4[f()....], so in these cases the value h/? = h/2n
    in summary: h=b-a and h/?=h/2n...
hope someone gets help from this

also its just the trapazoid rule, so u can go look it up and get the correct formula for R(?,1)

At 3:48, the function should be f(a+h) instead of f(a+h/2)). This goes for all the values until it reaches the upper limit b.

Yeah I think there is something wrong at 3:48

Nope, he did it correctly there.
You want to calculate lower bound, upper bound and the center. h is the distance between a and b. This means that h/2 + a is exactly h/2 differing from the upper and lower bound.

@@RockBottom7626 no, he defined h = (a-b)n, which means h = step size, h is treated differently in his equation from how he defined it

      Sorry, I missed that.
      You are correct.
