- Police received a call about two vehicles involved in a minor accident. They were pulled over in the left shoulder. A truck pulled in to help, and then all three got hit by two 18-wheelers.

not suprised , was in dallas recently and 100 percent of the drivers are crazy madmen going 90+
exactly this, they're reckless and have no regard for human life on the road

Most transplants used to drive 80 on 60 and when they move to TX with 70 speed limits they drive on 90 ....I have been noticing this since 2015
Why would you pull over on the left for minor accidents. You pull to the right and as far away as you can on the road. The left has no way to pull over safety especially with those barriers there.
The letter from the mother is absolutely heartbreaking. Condolences to the families and friends of those lost.
And the police think it is safe to pull someone over on the side of highways.. Unbelieveable.
its a texas law to move vehicles from the travel lanes when involved in a minor accident. the right shoulder is a dumb idea, the left shoulder is worse.
As a former DPD officer, I always told citizens, never stop on the shoulder of either side of the highway, drivers are too reckless especially at night, and the flashing lights attract drivers like flies on a bug zapper. If you can move the vehicle, move it, who’s at fault or money isn’t worth your life.
Multiple car pile-ups had improved over the years after "Annual fatality counts" were posted along interstates in many States. At which Texans often drive much too close & much too fast irregardless of whether the road conditions are wet or icy. My condolences to all their loved ones...
If that truck hadn't pulled over to help, they would have probably been alive. That box truck was too big to be pulled over on the left shoulder. I understand why he did it, but still. That wouldn't of gave a 18 wheeler enough room to pass by special if there was a car next to him not being able to move over . Pray for all familys
You do kn that 18 wheelers don't normally drive in the left lane when it's 2 other lanes they can use . You can't blame a box truck because they will say the other trucks wasn't paying attention bottom line the truck drivers in trouble. Sad day in TX R.iP🙏🏾🙏🏾

Trucks cannot drive in left lane and that area signs posted everywhere n it was not a box truck it was regular truck
It was a pickup truck hauling a trailer that stopped to help them and partly blocked the lane. It happened right over a hill. Then the 18 wheeler hit all 3 and the other truck was behind the first one and crashed as well.
@TruckingwithDwater 18 wheelers don't drive in left lane because they can't go fast enough since we made it that left lane pass up all right lane drivers. It's not illegal for them to drive in the left lane, no law regarding that.
And everyone is always going to blame a semi because that were the money is simple as that. Poor drive was probably lost his job over that. And lost family members just prayers

Those truckers need to be held accountable wtf are they in the left lane for ? I'm a truck driver and I take driving very seriously. Those idiot truckers were in the left lane probably texting and driving and with there feet up on the dash. I cant stand the new generation of truckers. Rip to the deceased.

the 18 wheelers are literally involved in at least 95% of highway accidents in PA. they even hog the left lanes, and create traffic.

Umm, y'all need better info...99% of truckers want no part of an accident, and the trucking business is regulated to the point of despair...furthermore, trucks handle over 70% of all goods delivered in this country, if you like to eat, or sleep, wear shoes, drive your car, and pretty much everything else, a trucker brought it to you...when I drove Texas was, and still is, my number 1 state for idiot drivers...the other lower 47 states breaking tails to claim that ranking...
