And "World Downfall" of Terrorizer. In my opinion Sarcofago was the most agressive and sick of all them.

@Samoriah Well though that may be true, their sound was highly influential to the modern Blackend Death metal bands such as Behemoth or Akercoke. They arent the first wave of Black Metal cause that was Venom, Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, and Bathory. You can say they are a part of the 2nd wave of BM. But theyre sound on all of their albums after this is strictly blackend death metal which is what theyre known as now

@graveviolator86 Although I don't like Sarcofago, bands like Venom, Bathory, Possessed, Sodom, and Kreator I think had more influence on black metal than the Brazilian bands did, with Bathory and Sodom being the most influential. Eurynomous himself states that Obsessed By Cruelty was a masterpiece of black metal. Whereas I.N.R.I. came out in '87, I don't think that Mayhem copied very much from Sarcofago, especially since Deathcrush was released the same year. As for the homosexuality, I'm glad

I think you've heard of Darkthrone ... well, Fenriz said that this song: Satanic Lust is the 2nd most influential song for Norwegian black metal. so is Bathory, a massive influence. @graveviolator86 The thing with Mayhem is that although they may have "stolen" some aspects from other bands, they truly made their own sounds by putting all the pieces together. It's the whole thing about saying that Metallica was the first thrash band, although there were bands like Venom, Hellhammer, and Discharge before them that were heavier any heavy metal "expert" will say Metallica was the first true thrash band (although I consider them trash metal). It's the same thing with Mayhem.

Dead invented a style that had never been seen before. Who else at that time would starve themselves for hunger wounds and collect dead animals for stage props? As for Burzum being shit, what do you expect real black metal to sound like? Cinderella? It's supposed to sound raw and raspy, that's what gave it it's sound.
