Awesome content! In a few tenants, I've noticed the Id type Manufacture, model and serial (Windows Only) are missing. Is there anything special I can do to make it appear?
Like I don't get it with this feature, REALLY! If I block personal-owned devices And I don't upload the Corporate Identifiers AKA (Serial,Model,Manufacture) and the user is assigned to use Device Preparation then this user can enroll computers and still be present in Intune devices as a corporate device although I didn't upload the corporate identifier. So, what is really this feature came to help me with here? This feature is really irrelevant if I can enroll windows personal devices even though it's blocked and the Identifiers isn't uploaded, So, I don't see a reason why to use Device Preparation instead of Windows AutoPilot.
Correct- this has been addressed now that corporate identifiers are working as intended. You can block personal enrollment and STILL use Autopilot Device Preparation now.
Steve - thanks for the Autopilot v2 video. Somewhat related... I'll presume your lawn furniture was sarcastic. If not, kind of explains why you have absolutely NO tan... lack of sunshine ;)
I honestly can't tell what process is easier... the old hash script you ran during OOBE or this one... at least the script uploaded it automatically for you. (edit - just got to end.. watching part 3 now!0
The more time I spend with it, I realize there's definitely room for this to grow and there will be use cases it makes sense for. For others, we still have V1
Looking forward to the automation session, thanks for the valuable content!

Microsoft pulled this for now due to issues and should be re releasing soon

@@getrubix that’s also something that’s unknown. Is the hash method being deprecated?
From what I understand, not anytime soon
