Don't think so. The thing looks more like parasite. After initial infection, the thing seems to be able to keep the host's appearence and mimic its behavior. It doesn's seems to be able to morph with shoggoth's accuracy.
Eles vão fazer uma roda e quando as estrelas se alinharem eles vão levantar seus braços e gritar:agora nós nos tornaremos deuses!e então vão se transformar em shogoths

Shoggoths are mad machine creatures, alien grey goo constructs. Their minds are insane and unstable they cannot imitate creatures but their shape shifting abilities can create sophisticated tools and bio machines.
In "eerie texts, such as the Necronomicon". We'll they're all in that aren't they. What are these other "eerie texts" one wonders. Also, it's interesting how when someone reads the account of a less technologically advanced society remarking on an earlier, more advanced society, they tend to frame in relation to their own tech level instead of the tech level of the writer. This phenomenon most notably happened when people of the Renaissance wrote about ancient Rome and the relative dearth of technology in the middle ages, which was gradually hyped up over the subsequent centuries. It also applies to ancient Greece and Rome writing about Atlantis (which was probably just Crete) before the Greek dark ages after the Bronze age collapse. So now we tend to envision Atlantis as some hyper technological fantasy thing, when really they (the Cretans) just had somewhat better technology than subsequent centuries, and were easily outdone by later Hellenes and Romans. That notion tends to come through a little in Lovecraft's writing. But what set me off on this topic is the fact that Lovecraft so often uses "indescribable" adjectives for things that are now definitely imaginable, as the amount of available knowledge and description here a hundred years later is a few orders of magnitude larger than at the time he was writing. Yet we try to posit "indescribable" in relation to our current tech level, which is much harder to do, and probably why Lovecraftian things set closer to the present, but with the same language seem inadequate. I'm pretty sure Lovecraft would also describe the present form of the internet with the same kind of language he uses for his various fictional entities and phenomena.
No te olvides de mencionar a los gul ( necrófagos) que son también parte del universo H.P. Lovecraft, a pesar de que en realidad son del folklor árabe.
Shoggoth: "We just wanted to unionize; we have no idea how it got so out of hand so fast!"
Looking forward to feature here in this channel the Most Powerful God in the Cthulhu Mythos. The Omnipotent Yog-Sothoth.

I heard Solution Epsilon from Overlord is based on these creatures.
This will be czrtz
More FICTION from a book writer labeled as mythology.
Any mythology starts with a writer. Consider the Illiad, the minoian myths, Romulus,...
myth literally means story
Cthulhu and his cohorts exist. Just not the same way as in fiction like all things.
@@atzuras I guess all the mystics and people who have religions experiences don’t matter because “fiction make good sound” then.
@@catvanbrian9470 all hail h.p. Lovecraft, lord of tentacles.
Bro fell off frfr
