The fact so many pundits say Ralf Rangnick is the worst thing to happen to Manchester United just show how little they understand about our club.

Another deluded United Fan channel he done nothing well. Came into to steady the ship and get top 4 which he failed both. All he got praised for was his stupid interview where all the stupid mancs are like omg he’s exposing the board. Get a grip he’s been a shocking manager.
Remember when United fans were hyping him as the “Mentor of Klopp and Tuchel”
@@dominik.1138 thats not really his fault though. He's clearly no leader, he gained no respect from the dressing room. But what about these players taking a little responsibility for there efforts? It's easy to point to the manager and blame him but this group of players have been managed by a number of coaches and the result is always the same.
It shows how little you know about the game. He’s the worst manager in the league.
As a united fan, I’m glad that Ralf came in and spoke so openly about the underlying issues, the season was already over in December

@@drevil3606 Would have gone the same way as it did under Jose. Maybe short term success but then he'd be off .
@@ksw6513 Exactly right, something happened just a few weeks after Ronaldo, Varane and Sancho arrived, the trouble in the dressing room overflowed onto the pitch, and that was the end of the season, except we didn't realise that then! something definitely turned sour and the performances went downhill after that, changing manager made no difference whatsoever, if anything it got worse as the results have shown and the dismal points tally (The lowest in PL history for a Utd manager) reflect that clearly !
The problem here is that an interim manager like Ralf has no real power, he cannot sell players, was not allowed to by players and the very fact he is temporarily means that the trouble maker in the dressing room feel they can get away with anything.
He’s uncovered the behind the scenes of the club for all to see. As united fans we had to go through this poor run with Ralf to gain long term success, Ralf was part of step 1 of making United great again.
So you've already assumed success. This is that problem, see how things develop, get the ground work done then aim for success.
Shut up Arab
I hate to break it to you but everyone knew this was a problem and having been saying it for years, you assuming utd will be great again is a big ask considering the fact its not just the team of prats that's the issue.

not rangnicks fault at all. a group of players that didnt care to begin with, working under a strict manager who wont be there in 6 months, with nothing to play for. it was always gonna end one way.
Also, how many players did he bring in and how many did he lose?
There’s a group of players that have completely downed tools at Man Utd…they just don’t want to be there
Nonsense, another brainwashed fool that's clearly been watching those Utd RUclips channels, try thinking for yourself mate, you sound a like a zombie repeating crap you've been fed from Mark and Sam, any manager worth his salt doesn't blame the players in public for his own inadequacies, Pep, Klopp and SAF would never do that, they sort out problem players by dealing with behind the scenes, they will be dropped and eventually moved on, all top managers do it that way, not come out crying in the media saying they are lazy etc, how would you react to a manger that said that about you ? that is why top managers do things behind the scenes.
You just gave a example of how many bad decisions are made by the board, and now that board just made the biggest managerial gamble so far, wonder how its going to work out
@@thrilla72 they didn’t let him buy or sell??
Bringing Ralf Rangnick as an interim manager was the best decision we’ve made since Fergie left….it meant we were FINALLY taking the time in employing a new manager, now we’ve got Ten Hag. In Rangnick we FINALLY had someone openly telling everyone that a full rebuild is needed, he is also a recruitment expert and we now finally have a recruitment expert working as a consultant. It’s no coincidence that both our failing chief scouts have also left too
I get the impression that Rangnick was brought in precisely because the management board knew it would weed out all the deadwood. They knew that uncommitted players wouldn't play for an interim manager, so it was a great appointment having Rangnick in - now we know who the deadwood is.
Ronaldo might be old, but he was one of the few players who were still committed to the cause, along with de Gea and Fernandes (although his form has dropped off a cliff).
And it will all crumble and you start hyping the next man linked to the job😆 like you have been doing in the past 10 years
He told it like it was because he had nothing to lose…he didn’t try to sugar coat anything or protect under performing players. Blessing in disguise for Man Utd
Could have Conte, Bentacur & Kulusevski by now if we didn’t employ Ralf
...and he got paid a fair bit of whack to say the club is in a mess, i could've done that 4 a fraction of the price
So odd how there seems to be a concerted effort by most media outlets to shift the focus away from the players and back onto the Ragnick

Rangnick played Maguire, rashford and mctominay even after many performances he deserves some blame too
@@aganbraganca4156 nope, he wasnt backed in january, so many injuries, players morale being down. yes ralf is to be blamed partly but majority of the blame should be taken by the players who have been throwing the manager under the bus since the jose days.

almost right, but they stem from the end of fergie's reign
Yep, these guys are talking nonsense.
Ralf has done an incredible job imo.
He came in to a club in disarray, with a squad full of complete bluffers, half of whom were just counting down the days until their contracts expired. He identified players and staff who needed to be shown the door and shone a light on the nonsense going on in the squad that other managers have tried to protect.
I think finally, for the first time since Fergie left, we're in a position to properly rebuild. All we've done is paper over cracks since then. Now we can finally clear out all the bluffers and build a proper squad around a manager with a plan.
Mourinho could have done it but he was hamstrung by the board and given players he didn't want and refused players he actually needed. In hindsight he actually did a great job.
Finally now we can look to the future instead of buying short term fixers like Zlatan, Ronaldo and Cavani. Don't get me wrong, i love Ronaldo, but it doesnt scream long term planning for success.
Poisonous players like Pogba and Martial will be shown the door, all be it 4 years too late. Clapped out old timers filling up their pension funds will be gone.
No more garbage like AWB.
Can only hope that somehow Maguire goes away with them.
Its gonna take a few years but the slate is about to get wiped clean so we can finally put something real together.
Every side Ralf has managed ever has played high pressing football, Utd are the only one that hasn’t. We done it for 30 mins and the players just gave up. The coaching was fine, the players weren’t
Ralph inherited a fractured club from ole and was here for 6 months. He wasn't allowed to make any signings in the January window. How can anyone in their right mind conclude that it's Ralph's fault.

Also, if you compare United to Tottenham who were also challenging for top 4 under a new manager, Conte got backed with Kulusevski and Bentancur whereas United didn't even want to spend 5mil on Zakaria. Ragnick was better
@Off The Rails if you look at this season Ole and Rangnick's record are same. Last season Ole was better so yes he looks better if you add that up but last season Maguire, Rashford, Luke Shaw all were good, Greenwood was not arrested etc.
@Off The Rails before the Athletico match, united under Ralf had most points per game bar Liverpool. United during Crystal palace game broke the record for most kilometres ran and most pressing stats post Fergie. At the beginning we were playing well. Even in games we drew, we completely dominated. Like the game against Watford we have 22 shots, 65% possession but game ended 0-0. Every team Ralf has gone to has played high pressing attacking football except Manchester United. So either all those other 6/7 teams he coached were simply flukes, or there's something wrong at Manchester United. When you combine that with fact that previous united coaches have also complained about stiff backroom and lack of work ethic among players, it's not hard to see who or where the problem lies. If we're still playing the blame the manager game then there's nothing to be done. Just keep changing managers until we get relegated I guess
@Off The Rails in his defence, the players were conuddled Nd cuddled by ole for 2-3 seasons that no matter what Rangnick did they failed to respond, so he had to go back to Oles football methods and see out the Season; if he was allowed to get in some players in Jan maybe he could have tried his system. But our players physical conditioning was so bad that he gave up attacking football after the 1st half vs Palace altogether 😂
Since Ralfs arrival we have had so many major changes, I am glad he has exposed the club!

You can't emulate what happened to us just because you want it to happen. You're either lucky in who you get - or you're not.
Stop wishing for instant fixes to what is a cataclysmic problem you have at Utd.
Bit harsh to say its a disaster from day one, Ten Hag has only been there a day
It's about fraudnick dumbass
😂😂
english media makes me sick .. ole is the root of all the problems we hv this season .. ralf exposed them now ten hag will fix the problems
Ralf is the best thing that’s happened to this club since SAF
Ralph was the best thing to happen to United pointing out all the problems in the team to players not turning up, scouting things going on behind the scenes and has most certainly lined things up for ten hag, leave the poor bloke alone
"They should've kept trust in Ole.. The team could've ended the season much better"
- Gary Neville
Let's not forget some of the results in ole's last 5 league games
Leicester 4-2
Liverpool 4-0
Man city 2-0
Watford 4-1
well technically united will improve now it's better they sacked him
haha. yeah what a clown nevilla was there, too. love it
Keep ole? The players downed tools on him do you not remember. Also do you think the club would be changing in the way it is now if ragnick wasn't apart of it.look at the bigger picture and not just the football on the field. The club was rotten all the way through. And ragnick let that be known to the fans. And since then it seems change in the right directions is finally starting to happen
Getting rid of Pogba will help imo…there’s a few others that have been coasting for years that need to go!
Why scapegoat pogba? What’s he done so wrong
@@joeh1189 because Jogba is symbolic of the player power issue at Utd. The board and fans backed him over Jose and that started the culture of players getting away with it.
What on earth has Pogba got to do with 25 players at Utd.
@@shadibrahim1489
That is pure nonsense. Pogba has not played in the last 5 games so clearly he is not at fault more than anybody else.
It does not matter if Pogba or Maguire does not play the team is not functioning. What are you views on Bruno?
@@bighands69 he’s symptomatic of the problems at Man Utd! He is what’s wrong with the club all in one player! And I did say “a few others” I’m not just blaming him…read properly
Rangnick is a man who knows football. He’s not necessarily a manager, but he knows his onions. Man Utd need a clear out from top to bottom and to give Ten Haag A LOT of time to sort this out.
It's great to see that not one united fan agrees with any of these so called pundits rangnick showed us that these players are spineless and don't want to play for the club or fans nothing but love for rangnick for showing us the light
Ralf Ragnick wanted the players (professional footballers mind you) to run more and they just said nope. The players never gave him any respect and you can tell from his press conferences towards the end that he had already given up. His term was more an indictment on the ManUtd players than it was on his managerial capabilities
His man management caused him, before the atleti game at OT we were doing fine, 4th and 3 points above spurs. For some reason he laughed off a question in a press conference for the atleti game about utd challenging big teams in the knockouts. He deemed the squad not good enough. Hence players probably downed tools.
No the issue is those team of prats you clause players that have egos bigger than earth thinking they can do whatever and don't even get me started on how your run your probably the worst manged club in the top flight. Stop making excuses for united the manger isn't the problem that's been clear for years now.
@@Odex1x if the players want to be friends with the manager, you have to adapt with them for Man Utd’s sake and move them on next season. You cant just write off the season to please the fans
Ralf R is the best thing that happened to this club, he exposed everything that was wrong with our beloved club
I agree with the sentiment that it's the manager's job to sort out the dressing room and ship out players that are toxic. However, I do believe that it's been this club's policy for many years now that the manager doesn't make those decisions - those decisions are being made at board level.
It's so clear that the board have been signing and firing players (or letting contracts run down, rather than firing) instead of the manager. Mourinho had a right go at Pogba and Martial in the press. He wanted rid of them but the board overruled him so the only thing he could do was go public with it.
As a rival fan. Ralf wasn't there to get results it was to expose how poor united have been run. Players over paid and players not giving 100%. I'm glad he called out rashford hopefully under ten hag he can start being focused on his football as he's regressed these past few years.
Who even takes these people seriously? Michael Dawson saying Rangnick has been a shambles when if they did a little bit of research its clear that the players had given up and the dressing room is full of over inflated ego's. Only two players that come out of this season with there heads held high are De Gea and Ronaldo.
Fast forward today.. and you see these pundits really didn't know what they were saying.. Ragnick, like Mourinho, was right.
The expert pundit giving expert analysis after we already know the result. Bravo! Maybe should give your expert assessment on Day 1 when United signs Ralf.
It's not the manager fault what's happening in Manchester United it's the players downing tools and I am not picked in the starting 11 so I can't be asked FC.
Ragnick inherited an awful team from Ole, it's not on Ragnick
It must be cracking inside for some people to know even with these pundit views, united fans still want Rangnick to be part of the rebuild
That should tell you we the fans have eyes and know the good He has done us.
Are united fans living in an opposite reality? They hounded JM and LVG out the door after winning trophies. Yet all I see is thanks and applause for rangnick, after having their worst ever season and finishing on 0 goal difference. Crazy
Rangnick the worst appointment for a coach of an elite club ever, and before anyone starts the players are beneath contempt too..
They weren't his players. He had no backing whatsoever.
@@waggishwonderland Remind me which players Tuchel signed when he went to Chelsea and won the champs league after Lampard got sacked? Oh that's right ZERO...Saying they are not his players is a feeble excuse good coaches get the best out of what is available to them.
@@johnhopkinson7573 that's cos the Chelsea players were good. Listened to their manager and not down tools. Maguire, AWB, and unfortunately rashford this season were bad bad. No one could save them this season
@@waggishwonderland Naaah not having that these are the same players who got 74 points total last season..The players need motivating and Rangnick was incapable of it..
Man UTD will never win a trophy for at least 10 years
Alright mystic meg calm down
Ralf Ragnick did a lot of good for United. He exposed the players for what they are, and United have thanked him by getting rid of him. This shows just how United are not willing to change. Ragnick was not brought in to coach the club, he was brought in to analyse the problems and help create the foundations for success by restructuring at United. But United for all the hopes we had and the recent changes, seem unwilling to listen to him. The players are predominantly responsible
Talking about the manager telling players to get on their bikes, but what power does he have to do that as an immediate interim manager where the players and the owners know he won't be there after 6 months? I'm sure the thinking there regardless of how he felt would've been that they might fit into the next manager's plans.
in canada we dont blame our managers or coaches, the players get the blame. Idk why you guys blame the managers so much lol.
Managers have a lot more input than Hockey coaches
Could someone please explain to me why the outgoing interim manager will now move upstairs and have a different job behind the scenes I just don't understand this decision at all
The people who point out that Ralf is the problem are out of context here. These players were starting to control the dressing room even before Ole became a manager. He is the one who pampered them to be these arrogant players they are now.
Ralf is an interim manager who wasn't given enough power to control the dressing room by the board by the looks of things. He clearly pointed out the problems at United with great honesty. Even Mourinho did mention some of the things about the players and the board before he left. Back then everyone called him mad. Now it has come true.
So please don't blame everything on Ralf. In my opinion, he is the one who kickstarted this rebuild and I'll always be grateful for his honesty and directness towards the issues at united.
Who's the expert manager at the beginning explaining how it's done?
Ralf Rangnick’s work speaks for itself in Germany. I have a feeling he thought Manchester would be cake for him given his status and respect that people have for him outside of England. He’s exceptional at what he does there’s no doubt about it. When it comes down to it is the players, will the players buy into the systems and tactics of the gaffer. In this instance they didn’t. I’m a Tottenham fan and same thing happened with Nuno, the players failed to accept his tactics and because of that we played poorly and Nuno was replaced with Conte. I do believe that these Manchester players have just flat out stopped trying. Ten Hag is an amazing coach but he really needs pulling power in order for it to workout. Ajax is a guaranteed success, English PL is a whole different beast. I hope it works out for ManUtd. I loved watching them under Ferguson.
I don’t think any top manager would’ve been able to do a better job than ralf, if the players don’t play for you and the club what can u even do?
This is from the station that has Gary running around the car park after Ten Hag.
Thought that was Gus Fring and Heisenberg on the thumbnail for a minute there.
I like Ralf, he just got nailed. I don't know what it is but I think the media are going to be after Ten Haag after 6 months and his relationship with the press will ultimately cost him. Just a feeling I've got that he's not the man for the job...
I will say it’s good these things had happen now . So it’s good for new management to take care and solve the issues.
They literally lost 4-1 against Watford under Ole, what are they talking about?
They also finished second under ole and got to the europa league final, he had a much better time than ragnick
@@danielhendry8376 lost against Villarreal in the final with a squad that costs 10 times more, and finished second in a season where Liverpool had a big injury crisis, Chelsea had Lampard as a manager for half a season, and even Arsenal and Spurs were way worse than they are today, they were lucky to get second.
What they dont seem to understand is that Ter Hag is not just a manager that buys some world class players here and there. The players have to fit in their way of playing. Defenders must be able to attack and put in the crosses, so that’s already a big difference there. The players he will get are likely not to be in anyone’s top 3. It’s a much more dynamic system than what United is used to playing. To get this right will take time. They won’t immediately be at the same level as city or liverpool, that’s just unrealistic.
That's funny, All the pundits and fans were praising the appointment when it happened
I love how as soon as Ole leaves the energy changes from "Blame the players" who Ole brought in let's not forget, to blame the coach
I wasn't surprised they let him go, I was beginning to think they should weeks ago. If he's struggling to assert himself with the players, what chance would he have with the Glazers and this board. I wouldn't be surprised to find out later that he was talking tough in the media (which the fans loved him for) but in front of the players and board he was a shadow of that. Also, being honest is one thing, but even I'd recognize that if you walk into that hornet's nest you have to operate with a bit of diplomacy until you're actually IN the job you came for. My guess: the board lost patience with being embarrassed every week, Ten felt starting on a good foot with the existing squad required bonding over a common enemy, and what better way to ingratiate the players with their new manager than to let go of the one person they couldn't stand? Then when you still face resistance, you know who to not even waste time on and he will sell them without even flinching.
it would be nice to see players play with a bit of enthusiasm next season.
Michael Carrick should be appointed full time manager , Carrick is big player and manager .
Think VdB will be a new player under ETH and if they can get De Jong, they could have a handy midfield. The main thing is the CB’s as that is the foundation and at the moment it’s rotten
If you take your car in for a tire change, and the mechanic doesn’t let you drive off with the car because there are critical issues with other components, are they a bad mechanic?
I would love for eriksen to come to united but I'd be so worried if something happened to him again.
I honestly feel like nothing's going to change at least not in the next two seasons, like Man U makes football look difficult very difficult
Rangnick wanted to get a midfielder in January and was denied the opportunity so what chance would he have to tell the likes of some of these players “see ya later” and move them on. He was brought in to look into the squad and look at what is needed from top to bottom and he’s exposed the club for what is truly is. It’s crazy how the players get so little blame as if they’re giving it there all. Rangnick clearly doesn’t want to play the way we did but with the players he had, what more could he have done. I’m also tired of hearing the rhetoric that Rangnick makes Ole look good. Ole needed to be sacked so move on. We have a new manager and Rangnick who’s known for rebuilding clubs which is exactly what we need rn
The guy who affects the shake up was never going to be popular.
In essence he is a redundancy consultant and he's done that wonderfully
Ten Haag should improve the side's display in turnovers, and hope to finish in one of the playoff positions, so that the club has something to play in the post season. Anything other than that would be a failure. Besides, the board should be able to secure some good trades in the off season in order to bolster the roster.
