He is cool guy, really clever and brilliant. I love all his films and i think that he does good job. And his voice! I'm absolutely crazy hearing his speech!
I love his voice he is so smooth and I could listen to him all day I hope he gets to read our comments and would love to see his face when he reads them
Johnny hates interviews he is a very shy man hence the ripping of the paper. He fidgets loads as well, but he is very clever if you listen to what he's saying. Who cares if he talks slowly.
People who talk slowly are actually thinking about what they are saying instead of reciting a practiced script. I'd rather listen to a slow talker than a smooth one.
Very well said. It’s nice to read opinions that are kind, I think Johnny is very intelligent, unique, sweet, shy, inspiring, and highly underestimated as well as so incredibly talented.
@@GreisogramLP since you seem to know about the tobacco he smokes, do you know if this tobacco is maybe not as bad as the tobacco in the mainstream cigarettes, like less or no chemicals, especially addictive chemicals, etc, that cause cancer?
Jd is so an extraordinary man, justice for my handsome man jd, he is the best, he is a great actor and a legend, jd is a masterpiece, i love him so much
Yes definitely - I watched it as a teenager with a hangover at a friend's house (not my choice I hate most horror films) not recommended! And Jack the Ripper / serial killers always freak me out anyway! Plus its so sad - broke my heart! I must have been a wimp on both accounts (still am!) - too scary and definitely too sad. Pretty sure he died at the end or he was basically killing himself with opium not sure which😭😭😭 and I mean it was pretty much watching Johnny Depp kill himself off because he couldn't deal with the horrors of life - traumatic! Especially on a hangover! Never watched it again!! 💔. Johnny admits using substances to cope when things get tough and it always felt to me like there was some aspect of reality in this which didn't help. More happy films please Johnny!! Well I think he made Pirates shortly after at least👍
I like how soft-spoken he is, he seems like a very laid back type. I smiled when he started to smoke because - sorry to sound like a teenybopper fan girl here- he looks so hot when he smokes LOL Seriously though, it's good to see that all of that hardcore fame hasn't gone to his head. That's part of what makes him so great, aside from his awesome acting, because the man is a chameleon.
Even though im not a fan of smoking, there is something SO innately sexy about the way Johnny lights his hand rolled cigarettes. He has the MOST BEAUTIFUL SEXY HANDS 😍😍😍
Hollywood young man from this generation seems to live in the Horrible and dark book "Rebels" Jonny is always charming. 🙏🌌❤️ The book had a very sad poem.
Thanks. Yeah, he sure is cool, in every sense of the word. Well, smoking is not cool, but somehow Johnny makes it look cool anyway...lol. But after his kids were born, he has reduced smoking, which is so great;)
@joonjohnny 'Most stupid actors' is a little harsh but I agree with you on your appreciation of how he pauses. Wish I'd pause a little more when talking! Luckily for me I'm not being recorded, lol!
They are both very similar, both extremely creative, artistic, shy both love music a lot, laid back type of guy, literally almost every role he picks reflects his personality, which is a depressing guy johnny always had a problem with drugs just like kurt they are so much alike
It's really a good mystery thrilling movie probably one of the greatest back in the 2000s but fortunately I'm here brokenhearted about the ending of this movie 😭 WHY??
@ellebasi she is asking if he rolls the same cigarette even in the movie... in fact there is a scene in ''from hell'' where he is sat at the table with one of the prostitutes, maybe after a dinner, and he makes a cigarette like that. Misunderstanding movie with morning could be reasonable if they were talking about another film, but not in this case ;)
This movie is almost alike as sweeney todd but instead Johnny is trying to stop the guy sliting throat. There is as much blood. And he has the same voicemif you listen carefully. And both of them die in the end.
It was a traumatic event. The ramifications were felt for several years after. It felt like 2003 was when people were finally starting to get back to whatever semblance of normality there was, but it was never the same. Even today, all these years removed, we've never recaptured the spirit we had as a nation before that event and we've never properly healed from that wound. It's difficult to convey just how shocking the devastation of the event was, so everyone was talking about it, for many months after. It wasn't unusual.
think without, tastes better that way. Not that I'm a chainsmoker or anything, but a cig once or twice a stressful week and the occasional cigar are not going to kill me super quick haha :p
Yes....Favorite serial killer. My family watches all those like..murder shows and stuff like CSI or Criminal Minds...so I somehow found serial killers interesting =|
@ellebasi Oh my... I remember very clearly going to the movies with my then boyfriend now husband to see that. 1997? Am I really THAT old... ;) I don't know much about Johnny as a director but I know that his artwork graced the cover of one of Vanessa Paradis' albums. Multi talented ............... if he wasn't so loveable one would want to hate him........... but how could you? I love how respectful he is towards women. :)
He needs to stop being so damn shy! How does he ever get anything in life? I was shy once. I wish I off and on through life. But when you know you know! Poor man.
@LAandlondon2010 They're lucky to have each-other. Obviously she's gorgeous but aside from that she's talented and successful in her own right and, though she's not famous in Australia, I have seen interviews with her and she seems really nice and intelligent. I 'get' the 'looks cool when he smokes' thing! I don't want to promote smoking but I admit that the laid back confidence he exudes when he does anything is a huge turn on! ;)
Benny and Joon, Edward Scissorhands, Gilbert Grape, Ed Wood, Arizona Dream, Blow, Donny Brasco, Chocolat, Finding Neverland, Alice in Wonderland, Sweeny Todd, Willy Wonka, Don Juan de Marco, Secret Window, Ninth Gate, Sleepy Hollow, Cry Baby, Dark Shadows, Corpse Bride, The Brave, From Hell, The Man Who Cried, When Night Falls, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Nick of Time, Minamata, Public Enemies, Black Mass, The Lone Ranger, Fantastic Beasts, The Rum Diary (unfortunately where AH got her claws in him), City of Lies (with another amazingly talented actor, Mark Rylance (whom i saw at The Globe in London back in the 80's on opening night of that Shakespeare season in Richard II. Rylance is a true great and he loves working with JD) and oh yeah Pirates of the Caribbean 1-5. Jack Sparrow is entirely JDs creation (there was nothing in the script and it was supposed to be a minor part with Hugh Jackman). There's nothing boring about Johnny Depp. He is extremely well read, intelligent, kind, empathetic and an original, not some boring leading man who plays himself repeatedly in every film like most seem to do. Few are truly great actors. JD is shy, soft spoken, humble and has never let his fame change him other than he became more of a recluse because it's too much hassle to go out anymore especially when his kids were younger. Paparazzi are the rudest, nastiest people on earth. You Ed no idea how destructive they are. They deliberately try to provoke reactions for a story and he photo. They are a scourge. Hence the need for bodyguards. Intelligent, well read and educated people enjoy his company, invite him to discussions and interviews with various universities. In addition to acting he is a wonderful artist, a musician (who loves music but always wanted someone else to be the lead singer in the spotlight), a poet and he's about to direct his second film. After his next film in French playing Louis XV. And you think he's boring? Encroyable!
I hope nothing bad ever happens to Johnny, his family or his friends. They all deserve long, healthy, happy, prosperous lives. I admire him very much.
Princess MeiMei I wish nothing bad had happened to him and his family too... sadly the world is cruel. He really did go to hell and back
Seeing this comment now after all these years.... yeah.
This did not age well
Too late 😔
Unfortunately, your wish didn’t come true 😭 Hopefully he moves on with his life once this chaos is over!
He’s a very humbling man and he’s gracious and kind hearted.

Wow! Him talking about having music in his ears while working made me think of that idiot dr. at the trial who claimed JD was being fed his lines!
Should of played this in court.

It's cool (not hot) when someone knows how to smoke like a pro. Johnny Depp smokes cigarettes like a pro...
It's self-destruction, not seduction :)

I know that he uses Rizla+ papers. But which cigarette does he actually smoke?

Licorice flavored rizllas and golden virgina tabbaco

Hey, thanks for uploading this. Johnny's so great, but what is she asking him about at 1:30?
I can't get hold of it (am not english)
I know you asked this 14 years ago lol, but she asks him if he rolled that same type cigarette in the movie, then asked him about his hat
