i know they are two different things...but does doing SLE have any affect on the admissions process?

lmao im late, but ultimately it isn't really going to do anything for you. If you put it in your application they may see that you were persistent with your goal of going to AWP, but the summer is really just to get a feel and some knowledge for life as a cadet.

Hey - I'm working on putting together a video for West Point admissions about SLE. Would you mind if I used some of the footage you got? Looks awesome.

Seems like the summer program makes it like it will be fun going to West Point for 4 years lol. Why not make it exactly how it would be if you get appointed so there would be no surprise!?

I found this video to be a lot more informative on what goes on in SLE but i have a question: what did you as a person have to do to get accepted to go to SLE? what dis you do that you think helped you get accepted to SLE? What classes did you take, what in all made you stand out?

thank you! in high school, it varies on a candidate-to-candidate basis. but in high school, i played three sports and took AP and honors courses. i also did a lot of clubs and extracurricular activities. to simply put it, you must be well-rounded.

I really want to do the SLE, I am wondering, do you know the specific dates of when it starts and ends? I went to the West Point website but it wasn't clear enough. Is it the first week of June? How long do you stay? I want to apply as soon as possible.
