If you search with various state ag agencies, and are willing to travel, you'll find a farmer or rancher that will appreciate the help controlling feral pigs. Before I aged out, I hunted properties in the midsouth, all the landowner wanted was help, and usually I shared the meat with them, and that included the assistance butchering, and often it would turn into a community barbecue and feast. Be patient, persistent, and willing to travel.

D33Lux they will attack some livestock and eat them yes their omnivores and young animals are on the the menu sadly there is no real way to stop them from doing this besides good fencing as most guard animals can't really fight them off. This is why we need wolves back in the southeast people.

In fact I am not into hunting. But this isn't hunting. This is very necessary culling of an invasive feral species. I am afraid more culling needs to be done, shooting isn't really have an impact, I guess.

This dang hog infestation is getting slap out of hand. Without natural predators any species will get over populated. So I think that you guys are doing a great service for farmers and those of us who enjoy watching shooting videos.
Even with humans mowing them down its not enough, they need a natural predator to hunt them day in and day out, and even then, its would take years and years to maybe get it towards getting under control. Those fckin hogs breed so fast, and so many. Honestly we need some type of genetic poison of some sort to just eradicate them completely

Around 2-3 in the morning I like to bundle up in my favorite quilt with some hot chocolate and my laptop and watch about a 1/2 hour of these before I go to bed. Something so relaxing and tranquil about it.

Serious question: are you able to train the hogs to eat in a particular spot by baiting consistently, and then one day line up a large circle of tannerite around the bait circle, wait for the right moment and kaboom? All survivors would be picked off.

Keep asking around, somebody is smart enough to accept the help. Some prefer trapping and archery because they don't want the noise to spook their own animals. And there are plenty of other places outside of Texas that would love the help, like Arkansas, Missouri, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and many others.
Is there a business for the meat, or per kill, or is this just for the thrill of the hunt? I have been thinking about investing into some hunting gear and taking my shot down south during the winter months. I am just curious if I can make a buck for my bang.

You should watch the video where the guys put a bunch of tannerite in a pile of corm. When several hogs gather around they shoot the tannerite and blow several of them all to hell. You can see one hog fly quite a ways.
