That's crazy how recovery time and pain factor can be soooo mcuh different from person to person. I had my ACL and Meniscus joint surgery about 2-3 years ago after many injuries and my first dual tear 17 years ago from a knee break. I would constantly re-tear it, let it heal then play again and finally getting it repaired at 35 years old. After surgery, i was literally jumping up and down on it (not recommended at all) and had virtually no pain except stiffness at night. Luckily, as i had always been training hard on my leg muscles from football that they've kept me stable and my knees not buckling under the weight. Looking at your rehab, i'm considering myself as super lucky!! Good luck with all your rehab and future plays.

@@muiawat I'm in the UK though so probably wouldn't mean much. Spire Healthcare. One of the biggest private healthcare institutions in the UK. It's more down to luck for me, I would say. Unknowingly training the right muscles up all those years before the surgery helped alot. All that rehab looks painful and stressful =( ㅠㅠ

@@sasarugy I’m in Canada . Both my acls are gone and don’t have much pain yet but I think meniscus damage is happening as I’m still active . I also very muscular which has helped with mobility and management so I’m just planning ahead . Thank you for sharing your positive post op experience

@@muiawat @muoian Both are gone!! Oh damn!! Sorry to hear that 😞.
Yeah quite typically I hear that once the Acl goes then the Miniscus follows and vice versa =(. Hope you won't need to get that seen to and be pain-free at some point 🙏🏾.
It's hard to keep from playing / training when you feel good even though it may damage you more so I don't blame you. I took 1 year off and was soo bored! Never again!
I tape up my knee and strap it whenever I go play badminton or football.. Just in case.
Yeah definitely plan ahead for sure. Ems and tens machines helped me quite alot also.
      You're welcome 😊

Good to see you in rehab now. Be patience on it. IMHO, don't rush for it just because of the US open. Then can come back not just 100%, but 110% and more!
P.S. Balancing the left and right side is important! Keep it up!
P.P.S. I think it is quite good to be back to the court. Remind me the feeling when I came back to the court for the 1st time, after some months cannot play in HK during the covid time... @_@
