Jeff from East Tennessee. This year i just grow what I call the big four!! Tons of tomatoes and cucumbers!! The okra and peppers are kicking in!! Got cayenne, bell, banana, and a no heat habanero. A stuffing pepper and sans fe grande! All are loaded up!
It’s been extremely dry and a kinda hot summer. I have had to water oceans of water this year. Just watering day after day to keep up! Now on July 17 we are heading into a wet spell!! Thank God!! So far the garden is an A grade!! I have put out a lot of late tomatoes!! If these can make it then garden will be an A+ grade! Also, I have some monster sized tomatoes. Lots and lots!!

My GMO tomato plants are over 6ft tall here in 6b WV and are absolutely loaded with fruit! I pick them when the fruit are nearly jet black. Even if picked a little early when a dark brown color, give them a few days to sit and they darken and flavor up nicely. I can't describe the flavor but they're delicious!

A few of my Egyptian Walking Onions (maybe about 1/4 of them) that I got from you last Fall (and planted around the same time that I received them) did develop the bulbs up top. But I went ahead and harvested them all and hope to replant this Fall.

Ethan Chlebowski did a video on Onions and he said that they're biennials. They produce a small bulb the first year and then the larger bulb the next year. I personally have no experience with them. Just figured I'd share that tidbit. I've wondered about how they spread. Maybe you should do a follow-up video in a few years.

My first batch of Egyptian Walking Onions took 2 years to get the baubles. But oddly when I planted the baubles last fall they have tons of baubles on them this year. No idea why the first ones too 2 years but these only took 1 year. All I can think is that maybe they need to over winter to get the baubles. FYI: My purple tomatoes are producing like crazy. So far everyone I have given some to loves them. We all agree that the skin seems kinda thick but the tomato flavor is great with a little salt.

I'm one of the people that only tastes soap from any basil I've ever tried. I grow it for help with pests.
Some critter tore a hole in the tulle I have over my sweet potato vines and ate the leaves off maybe an 8th of what I'm growing. I think it was a bunny the barn cat missed. I didn't know they could tear through tulle.. little buggers.
I'm going to need more hardware cloth.. *sigh*
My peppers are just blooming.. some of them anyway. I'm over by Vidalia.
They were a little late going in.. had to restart, twice. Germination this year was abysmal.
My tiny tomatoes this year are sweet millions.. so good.
I had two different worm problems with the tomatoes.. one may have been a caterpillar. Since I put basil under most of my tomato plants.. no more worms. *knocks wood*
I wish I could get sunflowers going, direct seeded.. birds get them every time. Drives the poor barn cat nuts.. too many to focus on one

my waling onions make bubils on year 1 even the real small ones try. yours are confusing me , they dont look same , I am begining to wonder if mistake happened and you got something different. could be your climate maybe, perhaps they need cold ( real cold not like you get hahaha) to stimulate that aspect. I get -40s and in spring they start growing through snow as it melts as first green things of the year.
