Welcome to the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal

Join us at the Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. Come to the foot of Our Lady's altar and pray.
Visit Mary's Central Shrine in the west transept of the Basilica, and venerate her in her various titles at our many cultural shrines, including Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Knock, Our Lady of Vailankanni, Our Lady of FIAT, and Our Lady of La Leche.
View a swatch of fabric from the original Director's Chair that our Blessed Mother sat upon when she appeared to St. Catherine Labouré in 1830 at the Motherhouse Chapel at Rue de Bac in Paris. This Marian relic is on display at the Basilica Shrine alongside a replica of the Director's Chair as it appeared at the time of the apparitions.
Stroll along St. Vincent's Rosary Walk with its Shrine to Our Lady of Knock and grotto, Marian statues, bucolic gardens, tranquility fountain, and decorative granite pavers that form a Rosary-shaped walking path.
