Replace to deepslate to ancient debris, it's harder to break and can be pushed using a piston.
Great idea in case he gets netherite efficency 5 pick.
Honeycomb would be even better, because no tools work faster on it.

Oh and also if they have superpowers and can instantly break blocks just use pushable bedrock

If I were you I would have spammed arrows at Parrot while he was in there and put him in a death loop and spawn kill him (until he's banned at 0 hearts)
