I almost didn’t watch this video because of the title, only because I’m in Florida and am unlikely to ever be in the Midwest. Better sense got ahold of me and I knew I should watch because I always,always, always learn something from each of your videos. The gentleman who mentioned the divides between the churches, this too drives me crazy, we are all on the same team! Currently looking for Florida events to go to, something I never thought about doing but now am excited to find. Gosh, for a video I didn’t think I’d be interested in, the time sure went fast. We ha e six families actively coordinating and cooperating gardening, meat production, and preps locally. Now there are several other families asking if they can join in.
The concept of a Self Organizing Collective is alive and well here in the southern midwest!

Kylene... the world has seen many intense challenges through out history..A light read through history will validate that. It only seems "like no other time", because you are subjected to a horror show right now. The world has gone through several catastrophic weather changes .. and we'll likely experience another one shortly. The sun is about to do "tap dance".. and it's gonna get cold like no tomorrow.. not to mention all kinds of other atmospheric fun along with geological fun to boot. Today we have 24 x 7 instantaneous access to information which vastly is BAD NEWS about how ugly people are.. i.e. our corrupt insane government.. So.. it only seems like "no other time in history"..
Yes people just have to read a few history books or watch documentaries to know that there has always been dictatorship and suppression, and the Earth has had some really bad days causing catastrophic events.

So what happens when things get so dire that those wonderful, sweet people who know you and love you (and also know about all the stuff that you have) get so hungry and desperate that it's either them or you...........?
So you have kept your phone safe, but how many others would also have done the same? What towers would be working in this situation? How could you even call anyone even if your phone did work?

Having s working phone Eben if cell service isn't working would be a good idea.

thats alright until certain members of the group bring a lot less in terms of their resources or skills, and those that do have them end up sharing their goods or having to sacrifice their families well being and their time/efforts for the others ! it's ok now but in a real shtf scenario it wont work as conflict will soon start
I would strongly consider joining your group, but by conscious decision, I am not a Christian, so apparently, I am the enemy. I live to the best of my ability by the 12 Steps of AA, I have turned my entire will and life over to the care and direction of God as I understand her, him, it, but still, apparently, I am the enemy. Even worse, I am a liberal, so apparently, I must be a Statist, Commie. That makes me sad for you. Still, I wish you all the best and will follow your channel closely, you have a great channel.

Wow. You have a chip on your shoulder. Get over yourself and your labels. Learn to live life without pigeon holing yourself and obviously everyone around you.
I guess I listened to a different video than you did. I never heard anything about non Christians being the enemy. Yes, God and faith were mentioned, but I have heard you mention spiritually and how important it has been in your life. In fact, it really seemed to be a similar message to the one you have. Find your tribe! This is toward people who live in the sticks and bricks and have concerns about the future, rather than living life in a van, RV, car, etc. TPP are very religious and don't hide that about themselves, but that is never pushed as the only way. They focus on ways to prepare food, your home and family for possibe long term power outages, food insecurities and water storage, among other things. I "faithfully" listen to both channels and enjoy the information shared by both. For my family, living on the road is not something we ever plan to do full time. But we do take long trips with our 3 dogs in our 1990 popup camper and information shared on CRVL has value. I also have no plans to store 30 years of food but still gain knowledge from TPP as well. I was really saddened by your comment. I did not see any value in it and really thought of you as a value-added person.
Hey Friend, stay on the path and keep growing! Don’t be put off by what offended you about these guy’s Christian foundation. We are ALL God’s children anyway. I’m a Christian, a liberal, a prepper (albeit a new one), who has already learned so much from The Provident Prepper family. Just keep learning, keep preparing and keep growing! ❤

I believe one way to make a difference in the way things are handled is to get involved in your local politics. Learn how things work up close. It’s not enough to vote blue or red every 4 years.
Beware that typically only narcissists run for office aka people who seek power and control.

If anyone announces their religion then it’s a dividing line imo. It’s apparent with many religions- ✡️🕌📿✝️as they wear their relics- most cover their heads, but Christianity is a little tricky- the crucifix is typically the only way to know. If you are religious I suggest talking to your spiritual advisor- priest, rabbi, etc and ask them to give a sermon about preparing.
@@catalhuyuk7 It's kind of a weird thing to say to a person that doesn't believe in gods, don't you think? And I'd wager that your average run-of-the-mill priest, minister, preacher, pastor, rabbi and otherwise spiritual advisor are not in the business of prepping/preparing, except for heaven.
I would like to go since it's only about 80 miles from where I live in Kansas, but..... unfortunately, it's right in the middle of a planned trip to Salt Lake City to visit one of our daughters 🥲
