When the kiss ended, he was looking into her eyes until he realized his wife was standing there watching. Why is it when cheaters get caught red handed, they still lie? In addition to betraying their partner/spouse, by lying they're broadcasting they think the partner/spouse is blind, deaf, dumb, naïve and incredibly gullible. I love how dumbfounded he is when she tells him seeing him kissing another woman didn't bother her at all because it was proof to herself she no longer loved him. Whether that is true or not, good for her. The look on his face of incredulity was worth it. She basically congratulated him on being a cheater so she can leave him with a clear conscience. Even if this is all a plot, he isn't aware that it is a plot, and in that regard, he's cheating. Kissing a woman not your wife is cheating regardless of the circumstances. He didn't push her away, he didn't act disgusted, he didn't verbally reprimand her, he didn't walk away. He cheated.

I've watched so many of these Chinese drama clips and I have a question: Is it common practice for well at the very least Chinese men to spend time with so many women that aren't their significant other? I mean in all these clips the men spend hours with different women and a lot of times don't come home until the next day or days after saying they're working. Is this common or just a trope for these series.

That last bit is not what I actually would do. I would not punish the child. But the wife's punishment is that until the day she dies I would tell her that that is the future she chose for that child.

The way I see the storyline she's a martyr!! she knows she's dying if she keeps the baby, but she loves her kid so much!! She saw the man she loved happy in another woman's arms she gifted the other woman, her heart and soul!! She's not naïve. She just think she's doing the right thing. This whole entire drama drives everybody crazy because I honestly don't think most of us would choose her choice. Most of us couldn't be that strong.😢😢

There’s another 🎭 similar to this one but the three adults spent time together before the wife’s death and the husband didn’t consummate the marriage until his wife had been deceased for a year🤔. The new wife focused on the child during that time and allowed the husband to grieve for his beloved wife😭😭😭
