This year's WS should have taught us a lesson. We need to fortify our BP more than anything else (re-sign Treinen, trade for D. Williams if the price is not too high, may be T. Scott depending on the asking price). Starters are on a very short leash come playoff time. Talking about signing any high priced starter is just non-sense. If we can get Sasaki, we can look for some short term deals for a pitcher who can eat up innings during the season. Overstocking arms in case of injury is wise, but not with high priced FAs. By resigning Teo and possibly Kike, we have enough pieces on offense to make the playoffs. Previous years have taught us that we don't need to have a dominant team that can win 120+ games in the regular season. We just need the right pieces for October and beyond.
