Tinker Tailor Stalker Spy: #1,002 ( Stalker ) Loner Kruglov The Controller's Trap

I'm not a Loner. My name is not Kruglov. My task is to infiltrate any Factions that I choose, in order to investigate and seize any of the new prototype weapons and ammunition, that have illegally entered the Zone. I have left the Mercenary Faction to join the Loner Faction. I am the Stalker.
Encrypted Diary: It was getting dark, but I had earlier gotten a Call to Help from Clear Sky near the Ventilation Complex. Often by the time I get the PDA message, it is too late, but I was compelled to try to do what I could anyway. I went south from the Mobile Lab, across the bridge, then again south-east, where I saw a single Clear Sky member running up the hill.
I ran to him, spotting a Pseudodog on higher ground that I shot. Going to it I met another Pseudodog. That is where I ran into the Controller's trap, as it was hiding in the bushes and did the mind-pull on me. Luckily my tactical Helmet and Bandit Exo, had the highest Psi protection, meaning the effects of the Controller were greatly weakened. As soon as I snapped out of it, I turned and ran down the hill, out of its view. Right into a pack of Pseudodogs. I was blasting so much and emptied my shotgun. I had to pull out my pistol when the rodents got involved.
Then the Controller was coming down the hill, directing any mutants to attack me. I pulled out the Prototype weapon and zapped that monster right in its tracks, and watched it drop lifelessly down the hill. Good riddance. Lots of mutant parts to skin. I went about doing that and went back up on the hill. More rodents to shoot and a Bloodsucker in the swamp below I tried to zap. That is when the weather changed, and a fog swept in. I thought a Psi Storm was coming so I stopped everything and ran back to the Mobile Lab. It did not happen right away but when it did, I was glad I was already back with my Companions.
