Policy of Truth was a grower for me but yes the album is pretty close to perfect. Flood is a genius producer. Highly recommend their follow up “Songs of Faith and Devotion”
"Interlude No. 3" is the second of two unlisted instrumental interludes that appear on the 1990 Depeche Mode album Violator. It is the first interlude by Depeche Mode to not feature a subtitle, as is the naming convention set by the preceding "Interlude No. 2 - Crucified" from the same album and "Interlude No. 1 - Mission Impossible" from 1987's Music For The Masses. Just found your YT channel. Like it, well partially because I'm a Depeche Mode fan, but I like how you react to the song and still have a live stream while doing it. That is authentic. I'd love to hear you do more DM and I think others would enjoy it too. If you want a darker side of Depeche Mode, the album Black Celebration (1986) would be one to do. If you want a more Rock/Grunge leaning album, then Songs of Faith and Devotion (1993) would be your choice. Those also seem to be in the top 3 Depeche Mode albums, along with Violator in most people's lists.
The musical partnership between Martin Gore and Alan Wilder is what makes this album. DM were better with Alan and I'll die on that hill. Would be great to see you react to Songs of Faith and Devotion, the follow up to Violator
Music For The Masses is absolutely a scary album; Little 15, To Have and to Hold, I Want You Now and Pimpf are so dark compared to NLMDA, Strangelove etc which are SUPER upbeat and 80s. Which just makes the entire album kind of unsettling and disjointed, but it makes for an incredible moodscape.

The sound bite you use for ‘9’ is a song called Situation by Yazoo which was started by Vince Clarke who coincidentally started DM.
I remember genuinely voting for this album in a community poll and if I recall correctly, the Hulk Hogan album won by a landslide.

TY. May I point out that remasters usually use auto tune correction. That’s why the original versions will always be better.
