@@fireball7605 fair enough. I live in Brisbane Australia and we have another shopping centre that is suffering the same problem as San Francisco. Our anchor tenant, Myer left the Myer Centre on Queen Street mall last July and the place was rebranded UPTOWN. And its an absolute ghost town now, particully on the upper levels. The lower levels are still busy, because of the food court and the bus station below.
The city should take over the former Westfield Mall building and convert it into an LGBTQi Cultural Center as well as a Human Rights Museum. Both the cultural center and museum could be open year-round, and would help to bring tourists back to the city. The mall building is still grand and has great architectural style. An international food court could be on the first level, along with a performing arts theater featuring LGBTQi musicians. A second level of shops could be re-opened and feature Pride merchandise as well as other goods/ clothing from around the world. San Francisco is the world capital of Pride - let's bring it home and celebrate. 🍧⭐🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Behave. We accept you for who you are and don't discriminate, but don't shove your sexuality in our faces. It's the obnoxious notion of thinking that everyone wants to see and hear your lifestyle - a lot of us don't.
This is cool, thank you
The mall concept is changing throughout the country
Yes, it’s sad when things like this happen, people make it seem that it’s just a San Francisco thing.
Still a beautiful mall, sad to see closed stores but hopefully this mall survives
The mall is not surviving. Confirmed today
Hope so too!
@@caliwalks yeh i think a walmart could replace nordstorm
@@electro_sykesI don’t really think a Walmart would replace the Nordstrom.

It's a nice mall! I love that the Powell St BART station connects to it for easy airport access.
Meanwhile you can't find parking at Serramonte. It aint the pandemic or work from home
Go to the garage or Macy's side, there's more parking over there.
It would be nice if you make walking vlogs in the malls all around the bay area...you know naman us Filipinos, mahilig sa mall 😏 🙃 🙃. Suggestion only.
Right! I used to hang out at SM Megamall 😜
Just to let everyone know, this mall is closing!
I read this mall is closing.

Terrible idea
THIS mentality is the exact reason why this mall is closing.
Then it'll really look like garbage
Right, condense that part of society and they can really feel safe together. It will be a great tourist destination. Win win
