This is an excellent video. 2 questions: 1) is the dash cruise light impacted by this? Mine is on when in key turned but not started, but off when started. The cruise on off does impact the dash light. 2) if brake lights are working it would seem that that switch is OK. Do you agree?
Thank you. The dash light is not connected to this in any way. Except to indicate the cruise control system is on. The brake lights working fine when the pedal is pushed is how mine was. My thinking was the switch was shorting out with the pedal all the way up and causing a momentary brake light flash. Which would turn off the cruise control. The new switch solved the problem so I think that was the issue. Thanks for watching.
