    Thank you! I am 51 this week and postmenopausal. First channel that still treated me like a vital person not elderly or some influencer trying to sell me nonsense. This video made me feel empowered and hopeful for this next phase of life.

    Appreciate your knowledge so much ! I’m 57 and proud of it and I’m always looking for ways to improve my overall health. Sadly, so many of my friends my age are just giving into old age. And at least once a month or more they are at the Drs office, on many prescription pills and just in really poor shape. One friend though is listening to me. She quit sugar 6 weeks ago and has no more inflammation pain and is off her meds ! I wish Drs would prescribe a healthier lifestyle versus pills 😮

    I really appreciate this. I'm 60 and have heard that despite the old ideas, lower weight with higher reps are actually just as effective at building muscle as high weight/low reps, which are really difficult for me! I have lipedema and my connective tissue is weak. I injure myself REALLY easily and have given up working out time after time for that reason. I am starting up again after an injury several months ago. I truly appreciate the inspiration and knowledge THANK YOU!

Because I keep hearing to do strength training twice a week, but even though I am still 48, I am not able to do strength training twice a week. Could you elaborate on that please? Thanks.

    Would you consider a 6 day split weight training program too much for a 50 yr old menopausal woman? If so, would a 4 day upper lower split be better?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  Год назад

      2 days a week total body are BEST for fitness, fatness, energy, and optimizing body composition... so more .. is really just about wanting to and liking it. Research and our programs show better results don't come from split routines (not enough stimulus and not enough recovery) or more than 2 days a week.

    Also I’ve been running for the past 20 years ( 5 k 4-5 times a week ) Where would that fit into your chart ?

    Is it still beneficial to try to get 10,000 steps in each day or is this over exercising? I do hiit jogging program each day for one hour so I can at least get 7000 steps in followed up by weights for another 20 minutes. I do this because I work a desk job so I’m pretty sedentary for the rest of the day. Am I going by this the right way?
