Hey, Tony. I think you should start making reaction videos to fights. I wanna hear what you have to say in real time as fights play out, like a commentator but with a focus on boxing technique.
Started boxing at home about a week ago. I already feel like I'm improving just from watching your videos, and it's the only form of cardio I enjoy. Thanks a lot man!
Tony, I had spent some years in the ring, I had began my training when I was just a kid at age nine, my father had been a boxer, I grew up in the sport and later won my share of boxing tournaments in the amateur ranks, and I just wanted to leave a comment here to let to know I enjoy watching your video's and admire your skill; and I see your a great teacher and trainer. I wish you well. Keep punching that's how we win! May God bless!
Tony you are the man. I'm on quarantine in Thailand and after doing your free workouts in my hotel room for just 3 days now, I can feel my timing and muscle memory improving. Thank you!
I’m 59, boxed and from a boxing family and was doing some bag work on this, just this afternoon. Great info again mate. Inspiring and makes me remember what my dad taught me as a kid. 👍👏🎩
Hi Mate I've boxed as a sport and trained in Martial arts all my life , I'm fairly old now at 58 with three surgeries to my name to remove cancer . I've trained all over the world , I've trained with many great guys . The enthusiasm you put into this is great , however the best thing I got from this , is I'm going to get up in the morning, go into my private garden Dojo( training place) and check I'm doing all these things correctly just as you've instructed . This is brilliant I'm going to find you on RUclips and watch more, much more . Thankyou Tim Wanneroo Western Australia
I`m a 61 year old enjoying all this. Thanks. Managing to get my jab going out with my foot after a few sessions at home. My left cross is coming on too. Oh, to be 16 again.
Hi Tony, first of all I wanted to thank you for the way you share your valuable knowledge and how much you do to make this sport grow in the right way. Although in our boxing school we handle practically the same concepts, seeing them expressed in such a clear way by someone who went as far as you in this sport, fills us with joy and pride, since it reflects that we are on the right path of learning . Thank you sincerely !!
Awesome video Tony - I'm learning a lot of detailed technique stuff from you. Gives me stuff to work on, face to face with the bag in the garage, on lockdown in Australia. Thank you very much for your hard work and sharing your expertise in these videos. Greatly appreciated mate.
I love how guys think they're learning how to fight from watching, then practicing these moves-- like Benny Urquidez says, " all those pretty moves look great", but try getting in the ring against a competitive opponent & see what you can do. Lol
Try your "moves" in real-time sparring against someone a little bit better than you to see how good you really are! Lol You'll quickly realize you know nothing.
Thank you for everything tony, you got me back in the gym working hard as hell. Turning 33 and in the best shape of my entire life. Keep up the great videos.
I've had pannic disorder and exercise intolerance for 12 years because of a faster than normal heart rate , but now I'm way better and this is the channel that's getting me in shape . I can't watch anyone else but this guy. Total respect for this man.
When you mentioned the bonus tip"to add 15 to 25 percent power" I also like how that same technique sets up the lead hook nicely, the back foot coming slightly forward puts you in good position and range for the lead hook. I was originally taught to throw the 1-2 exactly like you displayed in the video before the last tip. When I did that one day my coach asked me to follow up with the lead hook, then he told me to step forward with the 1-2 to get in range for the hook, and to bring my back foot up slightly I noticed my lead hook felt really comfortable after throwing the 1-2. What I didn't know and now learned was that stepping forward with the 1-2 adds significant power to the 1-2 as you just taught. I always tryed to time my opponent coming forward so I could catch him like a head on collision, and I Know how much power that adds to the punch. But I didn't think about that the other way around (me stepping in with the punches) to add power, as you just showed at the end. I even got something out of this video Even though I learned to throw a 1-2 properly 15 years ago. So tony thank you for that I really appreciate you taking the time to teach us and all you do for us ,for free. Thank you and God bless you and yours
I am new to boxing and can't get to the trainer due to pandemic. Since I am also healing myself from bad health conditions, your basic tutorials have been helping me. Thanks man.
Thanks, this helps so much, i'm 14 and have always wanted to learn to box, but I never had any father figure or a brother, and none of my friends ever want to box, but with your videos i'm actually starting to get decent even though I dont have any equipment or people to spar with.
Hi mate, its great to see this from someone with a similar background, and ur starting young, even better. Know this, life isnt fair, dont expect it to be. Great video. I started my first day of boxing ever today. My trainer asked me did I have my own wraps, and I had no idea what he was talking about. Im 37 this year, and I'm liking it so far.
Great video, reminded me to keep my elbows in. I usually do but sometimes I get sloppy in my old age. When I keep my elbows in and throw the right hand correctly the power is much greater. Almost like you hit the sweet spot. Thanks for reminding me. God Bless. Also I was stationed at Bentwaters England during the early 80's and boxed at a gym in Ipswich, those bloaks were tough and great guys.

Great advice. Great videos. Best boxing content on RUclips I've found. Especially for beginners. Every video I've watched from this content creator is spot on and educational. Thank you Tony for your time and knowledge.
Tony is a pure diamond! His knowledge, passion and approach attracts me here all the time.
Thank you Tony for a nice boxing content! Greetings from Poland ;)
Thanks Adam ma man, means a lot
these videos are so in depth and helpful. so glad i found this guy here.
Been following you for the past 12 months or so and really enjoy your stuff. I have been boxing for 10 years, but still learn a lot of new things or extra little nuggets from your videos, keep it up!
Jeffries, I hope you have lot's of student over there 🙂is rare to get so much details for "free" - this is only possible if someone is a real master! To not be afraid that others "stolen" your technic and style or advise and start to teaching like is theirs. I believe, because you have so much knowledge, creativity that you can always refresh your teaching ect. Cheers
I'm teaching my 13 year old how to box and these videos support everything I'm training him. Thanks!
I love your videos, Tony. And your enthusiasm for boxing is important to many.
Been watching your videos for over a week, my first visit to my local boxing club in an hour, feel that you've gave me a great insight before I've even started 👍 cheers mate, awesome content
Thanks for the elbow tip.! I've been wondering lately why my punch isn't strong. I've corrected it and my bag tore in a month straight.
@Tony Jeffries, Thanks for the videos! I'm glad I watched this, because I've been throwing the cross wrong. I've been leaning into it. I'll work on fixing that.
