I've boxed as a sport and trained in Martial arts all my life , I'm fairly old now at 58 with three surgeries to my name to remove cancer . I've trained all over the world , I've trained with many great guys . The enthusiasm you put into this is great , however the best thing I got from this , is I'm going to get up in the morning, go into my private garden Dojo( training place) and check I'm doing all these things correctly just as you've instructed . This is brilliant I'm going to find you on RUclips and watch more, much more .

When you mentioned the bonus tip"to add 15 to 25 percent power" I also like how that same technique sets up the lead hook nicely, the back foot coming slightly forward puts you in good position and range for the lead hook. I was originally taught to throw the 1-2 exactly like you displayed in the video before the last tip. When I did that one day my coach asked me to follow up with the lead hook, then he told me to step forward with the 1-2 to get in range for the hook, and to bring my back foot up slightly I noticed my lead hook felt really comfortable after throwing the 1-2. What I didn't know and now learned was that stepping forward with the 1-2 adds significant power to the 1-2 as you just taught. I always tryed to time my opponent coming forward so I could catch him like a head on collision, and I Know how much power that adds to the punch. But I didn't think about that the other way around (me stepping in with the punches) to add power, as you just showed at the end. I even got something out of this video Even though I learned to throw a 1-2 properly 15 years ago. So tony thank you for that I really appreciate you taking the time to teach us and all you do for us ,for free. Thank you and God bless you and yours

Very good content Tony, maybe u should make new series or subchanel, about more professional things how to learning and how to do with timings, how to properly counter jabs, how to jab with leaving line of enemy jab, cutting of the ring, making pressure etc. I know ofc that box is not mathematic on paper, and for learning u need just to fight and spend thousand hours on ring, but sometimes little tips from experienced point of view are really really helpfull. Or detailed analysis with comment pro fights briedis-usyk, plant-uzcategui or all golovkins matches...

Great information! We used a lot of these techniques in hand to hand combat in the Special Forces. Even a smaller individual can dominate in a fight by following basic instructions.

I've done a few different martial arts classes including boxing and although it's great for fitness they rarely teach you how to punch properly. For a woman I think it's so important to learn technique where in a defence situation there will probably be a disadvantage with regards to body strength.
Thank you! I am practicing these lessons daily now in the gym.
