      down the line - farther in the future, or later in a process
      In terms of meaning, these expressions are very similar.
      Let's compare examples of using these expressions:

      "I'm sure we'll see each other down the line."
      "Who knows, though, maybe down the line."
      Yes, indeed, very similar.
