So true man. It makes me uncomfortable when she continues when her guest isn't receptive but luckily it doesn't happen in the clips I've seen more recently. 😅 I like her so much in general and want to see her succeed with this show so I am glad she is visibly finding a balance...not balanced enough yet though.
Drew is just... magic. Her show has taught and shown me so many things about myself.

I always dream about having a kinship and best friend with women in my life. It’s so hard to find and this was just beautiful to watch.
It is hard. So hard especially as a mature or older (not child or teen) woman meeting and really bonding with other people. You (one) needs to be that person for others and it will be recognized by those spirits who will reciprocate. We need to be generous with our own time to others. Still looking as well hahahah

Yeah, I was also surprised to find out that she is the best friend of Mariska Hargitay too. Their interview with Drew was hilarious. Apparently Ali is the one that Mariska calls whenever there is a trouble.

why do you just say women should lift each other up---people should support one another just plain old human beings!!!
I ask my students all the time: "What do you want to be when you grow up?" And they say "Famous" and I ask "Why?" And they say, "Because then I will be happy." And then I list all the celebrities who have had drug and alcohol problems, celebrities who have multiple failed marriages, and celebrities who have died by suicide. Fame is not a recipe for happiness. I think it's a detriment to happiness.

I'll still watch the doc and I agree that friendship with Brooke Shields should be genuine, supportive, etc., as opposed to "I scratch your back and you knife mine", BUT it's not scary to "US MEN". It goes for US MEN, too. I don't know what she means by "scary for you men", which is very condescending and patronizing. I have a feeling (yes, men feel things, too) that I don't want to know what she means. Girl, bye.
