For the love of god Jolly, please make one of these easy questions next week Javy Baez, just so I can see Joez's reaction. 3/4 couldnt get Livan, but got everyone else
first time I've ever went 3/3. after 20 years, being a Marlins fan finally paid off. oh shit! and I guessed on the bonus. started getting so antsy when Jolly started saying "I'm not going to give you a hand"
7:08 Absolutely right, Shelf. The Nationals instantly became a playoff team once he joined. He changed the locker room into a winner mentality. And yes, dude worked at bats. The irony is that Bryce Harper only becomes the player he does because of Jayson Werth's influence.
Knew it was Tom Glavine just from the picture. Fun fact, he was actually drafted into the NHL before Hall of Famers and 600+ goal guys in Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille
Jayson Werth graduated from my High School. It's kind of crazy a small town of 13k in Illinois has had 4 players reach the MLB. The other 3 were both Maton brothers and Reid Detmers. The third Maton brother is also in AA for the Texas Rangers.
one of maybe 3/4 hard refguess answers ive gotten, thought of a few journeymen starters i know for refguess and remembered he won the 97 ws with the marlins (and WS MVP!) never knew he was an expo
this is one of the few times ive been fully stumped by the hard and have never even heard the name before. it must be common knowledge with the new york crowd because of being el duque's brother because im surprised so many people got him.
I totally got this watching from almost winning rookie of the year as a Marlin in their 1997 World Series winning team. He provided a whole bunch of clutch starts in the stretch run and postseason.
The only reason I was able to go 4 for 4 was because I have watched Game 7 of the 2002 World Series a ton. Livian Hernandez was the only pitcher I knew from the team and I remembered he pitched for the marlins. So I said it has to be him and I lucked out.
Want a fun time, go watch game 5 of the 1997 NLCS Marlins vs Braves. Umpire Eric Gregg has the widest strike zone and Livan Hernandez is loving all his calls.
Glavine: Took about 3 secs, narrowed down from the trio once I saw that Mets stint Werth: The Toronto threw me off but the Philly to Was conversion and 46 2b 2010 season reminded me of his 2011 topps card. Never knew he was a Jay. Livan Hernandez: Took a moment, but the connection came from 2010 Nats to 97 Marlins, as I have Livan's 2011 topps card. Flash thought of other Marlins arms like Anibal and Ricky Nolasco before finding Livan This one was frustrating. Mentally I checked off Aaron Hill and Steve Pearce, but I knew it was another 2b/3b type. Kelly Johnson came to mind, but I couldn't envision him on Miami. Same with Jonny Gomes. I knew I would know him most from his Braves days. Update, I did not hear the LH reliever part, so I have to restart my train of thought. I have no idea so I'm just listing guys off until something clicks. Tommy Milone, Billy Wagner, Hoby Milner, Eric O'Flaherty, Jesse Chavez, Brad Hand, Jerry Blevins, Andrew Miller, Grant Dayton. Wagner, Hand, and Blevins are my top shouts but i have no idea if Wagner did like a rookie stint with the Marlins or if Blevins was there, and I don't remember Hand as a Met. My inclination is that it's someone I haven't thought of. Jolly saying he can't give Joez a Hand is diabolical.
"it can't be werth, he never played for toronto. it's gotta be miguel tejada or something" lmao throwing out a name of a guy who also never played for toronto, and also never played for any NL east team. that one threw me.
Somebody really needs to tell Daulton his impressions are terrible. They all just sound like a BAD John Gruden. They’re all exactly the same and they’re all wrong. Not close. Not funny. Very embarrassing and I feel embarrassed too when he does them. It’s cringe Bud, u gotta stop, it’s not your thing. You cannot do impressions. Period. Stop
Watching Joez's brain work its way to the right answer is one of the best things to exist
Wait until you lose your virginity
Lol
Jolly: "I can't really give you a HAND"
Joez: "I'm not asking for a HAND".
Joez may not be asking for a HAND, but Jolly is 🤣
For the love of god Jolly, please make one of these easy questions next week Javy Baez, just so I can see Joez's reaction.
3/4 couldnt get Livan, but got everyone else
Are you referencing the recent darts video where Joez couldnt remember that Javy played for the Cubs lol?
27 years later and Eric Gregg's strike zone in the 1997 NLCS with Livan Hernandez on the bump still makes me mad.
That’s all I could think of too.
i call it the braves finding out how big a greg maddux strike zone is. i mean jeez you saw it every 4th day for a decade.
Why does Jimmy hate Brad Hand?
I really wanted the backstory here too!
I think it’s a running joke about how he doesn’t understand how Brad Hand has kept pitching for so long despite being so unremarkable in every way
Fun Jayson Werth fact: he owns a horse that ran in the Kentucky Derby 2 weeks ago
Did Shelfy say that he was at Wrigley Field for Tom Glavine's 300th win? That's awesome!
First time I was able to get all three from the silhouettes,
first time I've ever went 3/3. after 20 years, being a Marlins fan finally paid off.
oh shit! and I guessed on the bonus. started getting so antsy when Jolly started saying "I'm not going to give you a hand"

16:54 lmao
10:35 "Pundit square" is honestly so funny
Dalton’s Colin Cowherd is fantastic
Ref Guess is the Jeopardy of JM Baseball
That was a shockingly decent Cowherd impression
Knew it was Tom Glavine just from the picture.
Fun fact, he was actually drafted into the NHL before Hall of Famers and 600+ goal guys in Brett Hull and Luc Robitaille
Dalton has a problem getting hard confirmed
Jayson Werth graduated from my High School. It's kind of crazy a small town of 13k in Illinois has had 4 players reach the MLB. The other 3 were both Maton brothers and Reid Detmers. The third Maton brother is also in AA for the Texas Rangers.
As an nl east person missing Livan is a toughhh look
I'm old enough to remember watching both Hernandez pitchers most of their careers, but I had no idea until now that they're brothers.
one of maybe 3/4 hard refguess answers ive gotten, thought of a few journeymen starters i know for refguess and remembered he won the 97 ws with the marlins (and WS MVP!) never knew he was an expo
They definitely did Jayson Werth before. Josiah Gray couldn't believe he was a Jay either
I actually knew the trivia today! I knew he did, but I didnt realize he was the only one.
Oh that last guy i remember soley because of the Eric Gregg game in the NLCS.
For someone who not infrequently gets none, I was pretty chuffed to get easy, medium, and the final trivia. Was never going to summon Livan Hernández
Jolly: "We're doin' my division, baby."
Jolly: Wears shirt of NL West team
Cognitive dissonance sets in.
this is one of the few times ive been fully stumped by the hard and have never even heard the name before. it must be common knowledge with the new york crowd because of being el duque's brother because im surprised so many people got him.
I totally got this watching from almost winning rookie of the year as a Marlin in their 1997 World Series winning team. He provided a whole bunch of clutch starts in the stretch run and postseason.
I like how Tom Glavine's rookie year and final year authored the same results: 2-4 with a 5.54 ERA.
The only reason I was able to go 4 for 4 was because I have watched Game 7 of the 2002 World Series a ton. Livian Hernandez was the only pitcher I knew from the team and I remembered he pitched for the marlins. So I said it has to be him and I lucked out.
Gio Gonzalez would've been a nice one to put here because he's the one really good Nats pitcher I feel no one remembers. Maybe for another time.
Want a fun time, go watch game 5 of the 1997 NLCS Marlins vs Braves. Umpire Eric Gregg has the widest strike zone and Livan Hernandez is loving all his calls.
Due to playing Immaculate Grid, Hand was easy. Got hand for NL East and Kelly Johnson for AL East.
I swear they had #2 before, also the outline gave it away.
not sure i would have gotten medium if not for the silhouette
03:22 as someone that never played baseball but loves the sport… what in the world is that grip? Circle change???
Need to start making these harder
Oh, so you just walk Joez to the answer for the final question. I see how it is.
Joez figuring these out, but can't figure out the three teams that Javy played for, is pure gold.
I will never forget Livan Hernandez and Game 7. Never.
Even if Game 6 was the real problem.
I remembered Livan as a Giants fan out of PURE, UNADULTERATED HATE.
Why did Dusty start him in game 7 over Woody?!?
That's ROUGH, Shelfy absolutely would've gotten Hand. Tough week
knowing Livan purely for the one playoff game where the strike zone was 30 feet wide>>>
Massachusetts own Tommy Glavine! He is friends with some of my uncles.
“I can’t give you a Hand” and Joez just keeps ignoring him
I don't get how the Hard player had a 17 year career in 16 years _(1997 - 2012)._ Maybe he's just that good.
Got Jayson Werth off of just the picture lol
Jason worth was cool
Glavine: Took about 3 secs, narrowed down from the trio once I saw that Mets stint
Werth: The Toronto threw me off but the Philly to Was conversion and 46 2b 2010 season reminded me of his 2011 topps card. Never knew he was a Jay.

tom glavine took 0.003 seconds. the whole video was too easy. nuff said
Edits are pretty cool! Enjoy the content
I pulled a Max Mannis, i got all 3 within 5 seconds... For the last one, i saw pitcher and florida and instantly thought of Livan for some reason
As a Phils fan I’m proud of myself for getting Werth but the other ones I had no clue🤣
seriously not glavine?
@@reed5369 I’m only a few years into being a hardcore baseball fan so I’m still learning, I use these videos to test myself and I didn’t do well🙈
That collin cowherd is hilarious
Was not getting Werth if it weren't for the silhouette
Blanked on the name for hard but instantly recognized that he was the 97 NLCS MVP
I assume every guy didn’t immediately blurt out Glavine’s name just to keep the bit going.
That was hard? I got Livan Hernandez immediately!
I was waiting for Kelly Johnson to show up somewhere
Got the main 3 but not the trivia :/ I had memoryholed his brief Mets stint a few years ago.
Ref guess makes my Thursdays
Maybe because I'm a Braves fan but I got the easy one just from the silhouette.
I can never find vids of werth on the dodgers or blue jays
Loved these.
I knew Glavine from the silhouette lol
Finally I went 6 to midnight. Let’s gooo
It's crazy that #1 had a 2-4 with a 5.54 to start and end his career
I got 2/3 points and then the final trivia question
Knew medium was Werth based off the image alone just had to see my nats to confirm
A litttttle but of a crutch help for Joez, but he's really too far behind for it to matter.
Jayson Werth was wayyyy too easy for medium.
These are getting way too easy Jolly
Got werth from the silhouette
I got Livan quick
Same, because of the one silver slugger. Absolutely shocked myself.
I’m telling y’all. I’m too good at this😂
I think this might be the first time that I got Easy, Medium, and Hard.
I would of got all these anyway but the silhouettes were way too obvious for the first 2 on this one
Might one the easiest hards in a while
Let max out of the trunk.
mad at myself i missed livan
I got all three of these which means they were way too easy 😎
Joez with the legacy game! look out folks, he's coming for the title this year
I'm all for mixing up the format, but I feel like having 3 easies was a bit much
Los Angeles Kings draft pick Tom Glavine
BRAD FUCKING HAND! i'm pissed i didn't get that
Would love to see GiraffeNeckMarc or Fuzzy for next year's season.
agreed. would have loved to see Marc's reaction to Brad Hand too, like Jimmy he HATES Brad Hand lol
El Duque is 10 years older than Livan
Go Marlins
Oliver Perez?
AI titling and video generation: "Can [i/we] [clickbait] [clickbait] to [clickbait]?"
Why does Jimmy hate Brad hand so much
idk if im glad i got werth from the silhouette or not lol
Yall should start pinning a comment under videos that could have spoilers, comments show up auto on mobile lol
The hints truly must stop.
Man, the silhouettes give away way too much lol. My ONLY complaint about this series
then don't look at them. the players don't get access to them
@@kristopherwilson506 yes but you're assuming I'm smart enough to do that
"it can't be werth, he never played for toronto. it's gotta be miguel tejada or something"
lmao throwing out a name of a guy who also never played for toronto, and also never played for any NL east team. that one threw me.
